Hmmm Julia, das ist echt blöd! :( Naja es bleibt ja noch die Hoffnung, dass die anderen Songs vom neuen Album gut werden. Schließlich hat es "A Spell A Rebel Yell" ja nicht aufs Album geschafft. :D Tja Sarah, kein Wunder... wer schon in Hamburg lebt! :D Da brennt doch im Moment alles wenn man so die Nachrichten sieht. Auch wenn ich bisher nur 30 Sec von "A Spell A Rebel Yell" gehört habe, muss ich doch sagen... ich bin begeistert! :) Gefällt mir! Hoffentlich wird jemand den Song hier demnächst hochladen...

Although I'm a bit disappointed about "Violet Hill" so far, I have to admit that I like "A Spell A Rebell Yell". But you cannot judge a song while listening to it for only 30 seconds. Somehow it reminds me of U2's "Lemon"... :)

Mensch Julia, bin ich froh, dass ich nicht der Einzige bin, der so denkt! :D :( Dem kann ich mich nur anschließen! Naja ich hab ja nicht geschrieben, dass es schlimm ist, aber ich finde es irgendwie nicht gut, wenn Bands versuchen andere Bands nachzuäffen... Wie gesagt, so böse sollte das gar nicht rüber kommen. Ansich ist das ja ne ziemlich gute Aktion mit dem Download-Song gewesen und dass es kostenlose Konzerte gibt, ist ja auch ganz toll. Das alles gab es nur halt schon mal und das vor nicht allzulanger Zeit... :) Eben, und genau das macht mir Angst! Ich weiß, dass der Spagat zwischen der Trilogie und dem neuen Album groß ist, aber ich hoffe trotzdem, dass man noch einigermaßen erkennt, dass es es sich beim neuen Album tatsächlich um Coldplay handelt (und nicht nur anhand eines kurzen Outros). Sorry, aber für mich liegen zwischen einem "Everything's Not Lost" und einem "Violet Hill" einfach Welten... Naja, will eigentlich nicht weiter meckern und alles schlecht reden. Das war halt mein erster Eindruck zum neuen Song. Die Coldplays werd ich trotzdem auf jeden Fall besuchen gehen, wenn sie denn nach Deutschland kommen. So viel steht fest! Das eine Lied ändert jetzt nicht meine gesamte Meinung zu dieser großartigen Band.

Ich find soooo neu hört sich das Lied doch gar nicht an... Hätte aus meiner Sicht ohne Zweifel ein Song aus "X&Y" sein können. Naja aus einem Song kann man sicherlich nicht schließen wie der Rest des Albums wird und eventuell wird sich meine Meinung zu "Violett Hill" ja auch noch ändern, aber vielleicht hab ich ja wirklich innerhalb der letzten 3 Jahre zu viel erwartet. Schade. PS: Find's zwar gut, dass Coldplay uns den Song quasi geschenkt haben und zwei kostenlose Konzerte geben werden, aber irgendwie erinnert mich das alles zu sehr an Radiohead...

Ich bin ehrlich gesagt etwas enttäuscht... Hatte mir nach 3 Jahren mehr erhofft... Irgendwie geht mir der Song wieder eher in Richtung X&Y. Ich vermisse irgendwie das Besondere, die Atmospähäre von Parachutes... Aber naja wahrscheinlich braucht der Song bei mir etwas mehr Zeit, damit ich den mag. Wäre nicht das erste Mal...

My dad always gets the German magazines "Musikexpress" and "Rolling Stone" every month. My favourite one is "Musikexpress", because it's not as shitty as NME. The journalism is fair and the reviews about new records are very good.

Afterwards she went to a restaurant in Berlin Charlottenburg. In the article she says that Chris stayed at home and looked after their children. She also mentioned Berlin is a wonderful city and that her only German words are "Ich liebe dich" (engl. Great news! Only one week! :D Hope I will receive EinsLive, because normally you can only listen to this station in the Western part of Germany (based in Cologne), not in the North or somewhere else. Otherwise I will use the stream. :) By the way, I remember a big interview between Coldplay and EinsLive back in 2005 so perhaps that's the reason why this station seems to be the first one to play a new song.
