  1. Haha, nettes Bild!
  2. *BUMP* Yesterday we've seen the last round of the current Bundesliga season and what else can I say? We "only" reached place 3, so we still have to qualify for the Champions League next season. But it was one of the most exciting rounds ever! VfB Stuttgart became German champion yesterday after beating Energie Cottbus 2:1. For 8 minutes Schalke 04 was the new champion, but then the show of Thomas Hitzlsperger began with an astonishing goal! I'm so happy for Stuttgart, because they have the youngest team and no one thought that they would win the cup. Here are the highlights of Stuttgart - Cottbus... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7NBKvY5BU0 Sportschau: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWTWG_bT_TI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN5lcqsg6b0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHA9lIXzji8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QE8f1DpgKM I also think that Arena did a perfect job, although it was only their first year of broadcasting the Bundesliga. I will never ever miss the "Konferenz" channel. ;) Btw, I won 135 euro yesterday due to yesterday's results! :nice:
  3. Mando Diao - Chi Ga
  4. Why is this FA Cup final just today at 4pm (Middle European time)? This time is reserved for the Bundesliga final! :D :P I really wanted to watch that great game, because it will be broadcast on Free-Tv and I would like to see new Wembley. I'm sure it'll be an amazing atmosphere there. Maybe I'm going to record it... ;) Hope ManU will win! Can't stand Chelsky!
  5. You're welcome! ;) True, I have to admit that for example"Durch den Monsun" wasn't that bad, but I also think that the media have pushed them a lot and all those crazy girls who screamed everytime were getting on my nerves! :D I tolerate their work though...
  6. Hm difficult question... I'm very grateful and happy to be born here in the North of Germany, because everything's fine for me here. My family and friends couldn't be better and that's the most important thing for me. I also like the weather (it's hot in summer and we get snow in winter), the North Sea and river Weser, the cities and the fact that I'm living in central Europe. I only have to drive 1 1/2 hour to reach the Dutch border (which is very useful on public holidays like today :D) and 4 hours to the Danish one. Really like the differences between all these countries. It already starts with different route signs when you pass the border... Crazy feeling everytime! If I could have been born anywhere besides Germany I would probably name the Netherlands, because my ancestors have lived in a city near Rotterdam and I like the whole country in general. Great Britain and Ireland would have been great as well. One of my favourite countries (and I think that all people who live there don't really know how fantastic their country actually is) is Sweden due to the wonderful landscapes, the funny sounding language and of course the amount of amazing bands who affected my life.
  7. I think everyone here dislike Tokio Hotel! But I heard they're successful in East Europe and France as well. Anyway, "Übers Ende der Welt" means "Over the end of the world". I recently started to appreciate Wir sind Helden's new song which Julia posted above. This song took a long time for me to like it. :D Yesterday I got the new Musikexpress, but the new album of Wir sind Helden only got 3 1/2 stars of 6, so I'm a bit afraid to buy it... But well, you have to build your own opinion, so I'll definitely listen to the record sooner or later.

  13. Kannst du dir sicherlich denken... ;)
  14. Hehe, was hast du denn gestern so schönes gemacht Sarah?

This is probably the crappiest post I've ever read in this forum haha! Congratulations! (I'm fed up to continue with this discussion...)
:nice:

Wow, what a coincidence, isn't it?! The voting was so predictable! The one who still says that it's not a political voting definitely lost touch with reality! The winner song was as shitty as the majority of bands/artists who performed yesterday. The melody was monotonic, the recognition simply zero. My favourites were songs of Germany, Finland and Hungary. The Irish song definitely didn't deserve to be the last. I'm excited about next year's host now… in a country where a guy called Tomislav Nikolics recently became the incumbent parliament president. Definitely the wrong man for a peaceful democratisation in his country... However congratulations Serbia!

My post was only in refer to the "bands" who take part at the Eurovision. I don't want to say that every East European band is shit. Unfortunately I'm not an expert of their music, but there are probably a lot of bands in East Europe who are much better than the "bands" of the Eurovision. Ok, thanks for apologize. You're right, probably the majority of people don't know about all countries in the whole European Union. At school I often have to learn them though, especially in 2004 when the EU got 10 new countries. Yes, my post was only based to the Eurovision, not to the real policy.

No it's not the same thing, because Switzerland for example never was part of Germany! They don't have the same past and Switzerland always was a neutral independent state. Where do I say that Cyprus would be part of the Balkan? I only wrote "It's the same on the Balkan or with Greece and Cyprus and that's the point which annoys me the most!" I didn't write that Cyprus belongs to the Balkan so read before accuse... There is also no need to use capital letters, my eyes are very good, thanks! And you can trust me... I definitely don't need geography lessons!!! Sure I have to accept it, but East European countries mostly have the same trashy bands as the Western countries. I don't think that they're better! That's my opinion! You have to accept it, if not than I'm sorry for you. I never said anything against East European countries, so don't get me wrong. The main point which annoys me the most is simply the fact that the whole competition seems to be rather a political than a musical decision made by these countries. That's all!

Well, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine were parts of the former Soviet Union, so they all had something in common. Later on these countries became independent, got their own new languages etc., but besides that they still give votes to their neighbour countries due to fact that they have the same past. It's the same on the Balkan or with Greece and Cyprus and that's the point which annoys me the most! It really seems to be a political than a musical decision. I don't think that East European countries have better participants. Hopefully German TV channel ARD, British, French and Spanish television will notice soon that they have to stop supporting this embarassing competition with money as long as there isn't a new solution to stop political voting.
  21. The Crash - Star The ebay song! :nice:
Also hab ich ne kleine Ausrede. Man sieht... "Germany's Next Topmodel" bildet haha...
