  1. Allerdings!
  7. Sorry, off-topic... Is it, because Hitler was born on April 20th in 1889 in Austria and the allies had won against Nazi Germany?  Anyway... welcome to the board tgaucho! :)
  8. Today at work I listened to the radio and suddenly they played a German song of WAS. The song was called "Sie hat was vermisst" (engl. "she had missed something") and I directly recognised that it was a cover of the original song written by "Bela B.", who is the drummer of "Die Ärzte". It's so hilarious to hear them speaking German! Their pronunciation is very good and funny as well lol! :nice:
  9. Also ich weiß ja nicht was ihr denkt, aber irgendwie kann diese Alice Schwarzer richtig gut vorlesen, oder? :wink3:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo2_3nWAwz8 Achtung: vulgäre Sprache
  10. It's Jan Delay's Bundesvision song, isn't it? I like some songs of him and one of my friends went to his concert in Oldenburg and she said that it was marvellous!
  11. *BUMP* God, I'm still speechless after yesterday's Bundesliga match between Werder Bremen and Alemania Aachen. One of the best and exciting games I've ever seen. Now we're on the top of the table, at least for 24 hours... I nearly fell off my stool after Diego's goal! Definitely goal of the year!!! :nice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9jALMf5SMU
  12. Rock&Roll-Realschule! :guitarist: :cheesy: Thanks for posting it Julia. Haven't listened to it for a long time. Have to post this one, because it's so classic... Farin Urlaub - Sumisu :nice: http://www.myvideo.de/watch/372437
  13. Gleich kommt Germany's next Topmodel!!! :nice: Uhhh heute war was los in Oldenburg... :wink3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_22pK5CAiY
  14. First of all... why do you think I'm a Bayern fan? I hate this club tremendously! Well, I understand that you're disappointed about this decision. Only a few, not all clubs were involved in this manipulation. But I really think that it would have been a wrong sign to name Italy as host for the Euro Cup, especially after the pictures we've seen in Catania. It doesn't mean that all supporters in Italy are hooligans and I'm sure that we would not have seen pictures like this in 2012. But after all these scandals since last year Italian football didn't deserve it, although it's sad. I agree that it's also a political thing. Money will always be a big reason for any decision... The main problem IMO is that all three applications were weak. Poland's football has a bigger problem with hooligans than Italy, but no one really knows it, because Polish football isn't famous in other countries and didn't get much attention in the media. A lot of games have been suspended this season due to violent supporters. Although Poland is part of the European nation the infrastructure is still very bad. There are still no motorways, no hotels, even no stadiums. I don't know if people in Poland are ready to accept tax increase, just to build up all these important things. We don't have to talk about Ukraine... Guess the UEFA will help both countries. But don't get me wrong, I'm happy for all supporters in Poland and Ukraine that they got the chance to host a tournament. It's one of the best things ever. :) There are only a lot of things to do...
  15. Soso, dann warst du also diejenige, die heute ne Todesdrohung an Knut abgeschickt hat?! Interessant! ;)
  16. I was very surprised when I heard about it yesterday. My favourite would have been Hungary/Croatia. IMO these two countries would have been better hosts than Poland and Ukraine, especially due to economical reasons. Especially Croatia has one of the best teams in Europe. Italy has the best stadiums and is a really hospitable country, but after all these scandalous decisions, it would have not been fair to give the Euro Cup to Italy. It's still a shame that clubs like AC Milan are still allowed to play in the CL...
  17. It's probably my favourite Ärzte song ever! These lyrics are so great and no surprise that they were written by Farin Urlaub. No one else create better lyrics than him... My favourite line is "Liebe ist nur ein Traum, eine Idee und nicht mehr, tief im Inneren bleibt jeder einsam und leer" Perhaps it's true...
:wink3: Abgemacht?
  19. I agree! :nice: A few weeks ago I read in a newspaper that the German language has more adjectives and contains more changes to combine different words. Perhaps that's the reason why I confirm your declaration. Like my favourite word... Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz :wacky:
Achtung neues Wort... youtuben... haha! :uhoh:
  21. Ich sag nur eins... KULT! :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr31-Zym8Mk
  22. I think I never listened to so much German music in my whole life as during the last couple of days. Anyone ever listened to Pohlmann's "Zurück zu dir" (engl. "back to you")? It's an absolutely wonderful song and the lyrics are so great. I bought this album a few month ago, but I never realized how great this song is. Yesterday I discovered it again when I was sitting with my friends on the beach while watching the sunset. One girl had this song on her i-Pod and I started to listen to it. Don't know if it's due to the fact that German is my mother tongue, but songs which are written in German are much more important for me. It seems to be more personal, can't really explain it... I realize more and more that there are a lot of brilliant bands/artists in Germany. You only have to find them, because mostly they don't get much attention by the media.
  23. Coldplay - Trouble
  24. During their last European tour in 2005 Coldplay also played in Milan. Will and Jonny took advantage of this opportunity to visit Luis Figo and his team Internationale Milan as you can see below. It's really a good thing, especially because it's about Figo's foundation. Hopefully there's a tv-station somewhere in Europe which will broadcast this event. That would be great. ;)
  25. The Killers - Read My Mind ... always reminds me of Berlin... :nice:
