  1. Hat

66 replied to dannybananie's topic in Coldplay
if it's the style of hat described (and pictured) by alyssa, just rummage through any army surplus shop. they should have loads...or at least, they used to.
  2. i'm sure you're right, but i just can't make out the "cave" bit.
  3. I always thought it was cuz in the end....there's only us and in the end....there's only love all (or aww) my friend....they're timing us cuz in the end...there's only love. i'm pretty shit when it comes to lyrics tho.
  4. ooh, sorry, my bad; i was thinkg of somethin' else. gone crazy. i was able to upload my copied of the 3CD 'talk' set tho... no copyright problems.
  5. not on any cd of legal distribution ;)
  6. no problemo. I'll PM w/anything I've come across, ok?...probably sometime this weekend.
  7. Best site to use is eBay, hands down. EIL.com can be a good source, but can also be pretty expensive, and they're generally overpriced. I've also used gigposters.com. Type in coldplay, and see the gig posters they have listed in their site. If you see one you like, look to the left side of the screen, and the artist's information will be listed, along with contact information. I've gotten loads of posters direct from the source. Should their site list the poster as 'sold out,' do a search for their name + coldplay, and oftertimes, you can find a site selling that poster. OTW, pushposters is a pretty good source as well, but I don't recall their coldplay inventory as being very large, as of recent. If you're just looking for a generic Parachutes promo poster, let me know. I'm always searching shops and sites; I'll just add it to my list of things I'm looking for, and can pass along listing info to you, no problem. good luck!
  8. my pardner apparently updated our "space" to reflect my signin http://www.myspace.com/66sixtysix66 nothing exciting but a nice download link in both the blog and bulliten section. work in progress.
  9. aside from being a lucky bastard with the saftey ep ;), it looks you have all the main releases (UK released?)...OTW many of the singles and records have South American, Japan and Taiwan releases, and other limited runs, such as the Parachutes and X&Y tour editions. The bulk of the singles will have UK, US, Japan, some Taiwan, some South American and Aussie releases, along with single and album promotionals and some EP, single and album vinyl releases. But you definitely have the gem in the rough, and definitely my green green envy w/your safety :) very very cool!
  10. i don't really keep up w/it, but use it to post links 'n other crap. http://www.myspace.com/24571449
  11. some countries have different copyright and distribution laws. castles isn't an official release, but looks to be a professionally pressed compilation, like a few others that you'll find floating about. kind of a waste of money in the sense that all the tracks are available through official distribution, and with better packaging and correct verbiage (a lot of the unofficial comps will display the titles incorrectly or misspelled). BUT, for someone who'd like a 2-CD comp of b-sides, the unofficial's are usually a cheap buy, and have good sound. as far as the downloading problems, i can't help you out much. i have a few unofficial comps for a few bands, but never had any problems getting the tracks into my mp3.
  12. never tried azureus, but tomato torrent works great for me. just drag the torrent file into the icon, and it does the rest of the work for you.
  13. ^^ I was out in LA in February, and experienced Amoeba for the first time. It was amost heaven :) ...but totally killed my mastercard.
  14. hey, I PM'd you. Let me know.
  15. true. but i can still find it creepy.
  16. no, i generally find biography's quite boring. but still think delving into familial and personal relationships of celebrities is a bit creepy in a harmless stalkery way.
  17. hmm...is it just me, or is this thread kinda boarderline creepy?

Hey depe, tip my hat in your direction, mate. great list. probably one of the most comprehensive I've seen of the singles, being only short on a minute handful. You plan on listing out all the album releases as well? I'd definitely be tops. Kudos to you, man, top job! and thanks for sharing! I'm errr...borrowing your data for comparison as i type! :)

Yeah, i have that record collector, along with a private guide I've built and use regularly both when buying and listing Coldplay items. eBay's a bad source, but sites lik eGEMM, musicstack, netsounds and others really provide great material for pricing, though I've found that a "value" and "going" price may vary a bit. Anyhow, just thought I'd throw it out there. In my exploits, it's the more commonly asked question of me from my buyers and from other sellers and collectors, so though it's a bit of work, it really would put you above and beyond all the other disco sites.
  20. Hey, if it helps at all, "One I Love" was released promotionally in Australia as a single. Format is CD, Serial PR 362, and it was distributed in a clear slimline case w/no artwork. Also just learned, it was released as a promo in the UK, as well. Don't have that one, so can't verify serial, etc..., but looks legit.
  21. try youtube.com. enter "the hardest part" as the search query, and it'll pop up. from there , you should be able to save the file.

Hey Rob, I agree that site is great, but I'll be looking forward to your update very much. you ever consider including a price guide of actual value and general selling rates? it's the only info i can never seem to find on their discography sites, but a great necessity for new collectors.
