Really? I disagree - look at the setlists. The only variation might be one song that they play on the B stage (the catwalk). Other than that, its 99% the same.

I guess we are lucky...I just saw them August 3rd and am considering seeing them again. Do you think it will be the exact same show/setlist? As much as I love Coldplay, I would rather see them switch it up instead of the same exact routine...

Any idea of how many songs they will play??? Do you think we will be able to meet them?

Also, I am talking in terms of production - those "magic balls" were indeed expensive but are they really that cool? I am just worried this new CD is going to be like Dave Matthews Band's "Stand Up" - ha if you know what I mean.

Now that there have been a few live (free) shows with similar setlists, do you think that this setlist is going to continue for their entire REAL tour? (starts with Life in Technicolor then goes to Violet Hill, etc). I know Coldplay has been saying that the tour will be a great production and well worth the money (ie with delaying the tour) but I am just confused/worried. It should be expected that Coldplay will feature the same setlist (just about) for the entire tour, and I am wondering if the setlist they have been playing is the ONE that they will play. Because honestly, it doesn't sound that great!

Anyone else agree? That beginning part sounds like someting from How to dismantale an atomic bomb. Maybe the song Miracle Drug? I can't put my finger on it...

I just got an email from Coldplay.com confirming the European/UK tour dates. If you scroll down to the bottom of the email, it says" "Oh, and by the way, our tour will feature magic balls. We'll tell you more about those on the website soon." Haha any thoughts as to what that means??

Hey guys - I was wondering what your thoughts were in when you think the best time to see Coldplay live is. Obviously they have a very long tour - would you rather see them in the very beginning of their tour, the middle of their tour, or the end of the tour? I am seeing them on their 2nd show (Washington, DC) and I guess its great that they will all be fresh, but they might not get everything going right until later in the tour. Also perhaps Chris's voice might not sound as good towards the later parts of the tour. Thoughts...

Guys, guys, guys...listen up! These scalpers/ticket brokers do NOT have these tickets - no one has them yet! These ticket brokers put links up on their websites saying they have particular seats just in case they do get seats like that. It is all a business - my friend works for a ticket broker and was explaining it to me (it is kind of complicated). For example, before even the Best Buy presale, some ticket broker websites had tickets for all of the shows up (but they really did not have any!). If you do not believe me, contact that website that says they have the tickets for the MSG show, and tell them you want to buy them and want the tickets this week. It is all BS...do not fret.

go to ticketmaster.com, search for coldplay and click on the washington dc show. it will say on the right the prices. but expect to pay about $115 total for a single seat (for best sections)

best buy reward zone members could do a presale for the show today, but it is over...dont worry, the tickets they offered werent great...either 4, 5, 6 floor seats (not front of those sections) and some side stage tickets. i got section 111, row g....i guess could to keep for back up in case i dont get tickets on saturday when they go on sale to the public...
