Parlophone's A&R for Coldplay: LP5 expected "towards the autumn"
They may as well finish the recording process before the festivals and use summer for the mixing and album production and everything else going on for the release, I don't see it as impossible tbh and I don't understand why a lot of people care that much about how much time it's taking, if they don't feel what they have now is good enough why should they release it, just because we want it and can't wait anymore? I feel that would be kind of selfish on our part

[9-June-2011] Coldplay @ Heineken Jammin' Festival, San Giuliano Park, Venice, Italy
Uhm so even if it's not been officially announced yet, there's an Italian singer who's gonna play the same day as Coldplay and he twitted that Beady Eye will play as well..ahaha Liam will "open" for Coldplay

Parlophone's A&R for Coldplay: LP5 expected "towards the autumn"
I have kind of a mixed feeling about listening to new songs live, it happened to me before with The Killers, and I liked them best than the studio version (Spaceman first live version is 1000000 times better than the studio and second live version)...so if they're really going to preview a few songs live I really hope I won't be disappointed with the studio version :uhoh: That said, I can patiently wait till the autumn if this is their plan (tough August would be the best thing)

Dont' really care if the album is out in spring, summer or autmun, but this timeframe probably means they're gonna play new songs during the festivals :wacky:

[9-June-2011] Coldplay @ Heineken Jammin' Festival, San Giuliano Park, Venice, Italy
You know what, since you're lukcy to have a friend here in Italy who can buy them for you, it's even better, I always go the ticket shop where they have less fees to pay than buying them online. The high price is because they always send by courier, it's already 10€ for Italy so that's not a surprise it would cost a lot to send them internationally

I guess she's referring to Green Day not playing because of heavy rain that interrupted also 30 Second to Mars set, it was pouring rain for an hour, and the soil could not absorb it all so they didn't let any other band play that day because of safety reasons. I was there and luckily I could exchange the ticket for that day with the one for Pearl Jam two days later, but obviously people who came only for Green Day were pretty disappointed.

[9-June-2011] Coldplay @ Heineken Jammin' Festival, San Giuliano Park, Venice, Italy
Ok so, they're available in the ticket shops as I bought mine (and for my two friends) heading home from work. Still don't know why they haven't opened the sale online, maybe they will start from 10 pm tonight  Otherwise there's another website selling them from tomorrow, Vivaticket

[9-June-2011] Coldplay @ Heineken Jammin' Festival, San Giuliano Park, Venice, Italy
Was coming to let people know about this. I have no idea why they're still not on sale, but I can say that ticketone is known to suck, especially when they have to deal with high demand gigs (it's always a nightmare to buy the tickets for U2 with them), and yesterday evening the tickets for the tour of saturday night headliner went on sale, causing the usual cahos. I guess they suspended the tickets sale for every other night because of this  I emailed the customer service even tough I don't think they will answer. This afternoon I'm going to see if I can find out something at the ticket shop here

I know :disappointed: but I still live in hope... Ah I had completely forgotten about Phil mentioning the possible return of Amsterdam and Live is for Living in the setlist :wideeyed: Life is for Living as final song like during A rush tour :bomb:

[9-June-2011] Coldplay @ Heineken Jammin' Festival, San Giuliano Park, Venice, Italy
Yup, with Venice in the background and fireworks like they did in Verona :wacky: But Shiver (full band) would suit even better..just saying :curtain:

Vasco  I shiver thinking about the other two headliners, they couldn't be any worse, hope the other bands playing the same day as Coldplay are gonna be better because that's the only day I'm going. Anyway thanks everyone for being happy for me, after travelling all around the world to see them now it's only a 10 minutes bike ride from home to the park, couldn't have asked for anything closer  @Christa: I would do All Points West again, even with all the rain and mud, and not everyone coming to New York get to experience the Holland tunnel traffic jam :laugh3:

Complete Festival Guide for 2011 (+Awards)
Coldplay have just been confirmed :awesome: edit: no ok, don't consider it, besides Coldplay the first day, the other two headliners suck (they're italian), and I don't really think RHCP or Muse would come if they're not headlining

The Pierces: Guy is like Jesus
Finally getting the recognition he deserves with this article and the plug from coldplay's official twitter and facebook for Apparatjik :nice: I have their Love You More EP and Guy plays an awful lot of instruments besides being the producer
-
Apparatjik
Ditto  with one difference Another > 1000 miles flights  Yup it's him, even if his voice is mixed with Magne's (which is supposedly the reason why none of us was sure who the singer was among them) :)

[3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
You should usually be able to check into at hotel late, just let them know, I checked at nearly 2 am once :) Still on the maybe list (thanks Anna for adding me ), need to be sure about a thing at work before planning anything for sure

White Lies
Yes, a great way to start my first day back at work :laugh3:

White Lies
You're absolutely right, but that's why I couldn't care less about critics review, I like the music I like not what critics wants me to like because they think it's "innovative" (an adjective rather abused in music imho), their judgment is as right as mine, we just base it on different aspects and most probably listen to the music with different ears and expectations :)

NEW SOUNDTRACKS TITLES! Coldplay: 'We're still trying to deliver our album masterpiece'
Wait, aren't you the one who heard Violet Hill before anyone else? :surprised:
-
White Lies
I've seen many reviews in magazines gave them high votes, or at least no bad :uhoh: I'm really liking it, and to me if a band doesn't completely change from album to album doesn't mean they suck. You know what, I like it, to me it's different from To Lose My Life but still in White Lies' style, and it's all that matters to me :nice:
