  8. Real Madrid! they suck! And Chelsea! Upstart! TOTAL UPSTART!
  9. yup, Nadal is huge talent, but there's still a long way to go before he finally overleaps Federer. Hewitt and Roddick are great players, but maybe not No.1 type. They're now merely pretenders to Federer's throne. well, maybe Safin is one of the few ones who are likely to beat Federer. BTW, not until last year's tennis masters' cup in Shanghai did i begin to notice the guy called Nalbandian. Amazing Agentine! he beat Federer in the final and snatched the Cup from Federer right after the latter is officially awarded World No.1 of 2005. and the fact is Nalbandian did better than Federer when in youthhood! So, GO NADAL! GO SAFIN! GO NALBANDIAN! the worst of male tennis is making a Swiss guy play against himself!
  10. Hey guys, i aint kidding! BRINGING THE DRAGON TO LONDON: Chinese pop star Li Yuchun and London Mayor Ken Livingstone launch ‘China in London 2006’ by switching on a Chinese Lantern display and releasing balloons at Oxford Circus. London kicked off what were heralded as the largest Chinese New Year celebrations outside Asia, beginning a major festival of the country’s artistic, cultural and culinary heritage. So, happy Chinese New Year everyone! Perhaps it's smthn new to you, but it's great to celebrate new year twice, isn't it? :)

  12. yer nationality says that! :) my fave is Ryan Giggs from Man Utd. but Adriano and Ronaldinho are also very excellent players!
  13. yay! Chinese players won the Women's doubles! the two amazing gals, Zheng Jie and Yan Zi beat top seeds Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur in the final and they won China's first ever Grand Slam title! the title is a huge present for all Chinese for the upcoming Chinese New Year, which falls on Jan 29. i dont think many people do watch women's doubles, but you know, uh, if you were Chinese you would know how i'm feeling!
  14. 5721 miles (9206 km) (4971 nautical miles) !!!!! :( what amazes me most is i know for the first time 8 other places called Shanghai! PLZ COME TO CHINA!

  21. HAHA!before i saw this, i thought Russians are questioning her patriotism! maybe what i thought aint truth, but i do know there's rift between her and other female Russian players. anyway, she's pretty, but not the prettiest; she plays well, but not the best.
  22. Well, just fake tabloid story. i can imagine he's suffering from great stress. some so-called encouragement is more of sarcasm!
  23. you guys are really lucky! i gotta tell ya some facts maybe you havent heard of before. yes, -30 is damn COLD! but in terms of latitude, China is very very cold(maybe even the coldest)in winter. i'm not kidding, people in the very nothern parts of China wont be surprised if the forecast reports -30, and the fact is these parts are on lower latitudes than Holland! My location, Shanghai is situated on about the same latitude as Alexandria, Egypt. if you've got a world map, you'll find it's even on lower latitude than Los Angeles and Dallas! but, in winter the temperature will sometimes drop to -2to -3 degrees celcius! the extremity will be -5to -6 degrees! so, its rather cold, even some European guys cant bear it! Believe it or not, the January mean temperature of Shanghai is only about 4 degrees celcius, too cold for its latitude! just a little bit warmer than London! just as mrcool011 has said, in Seberia the temperature is sometimes less than -50 degrees! and Seberia is the very factory of cold waves! every year starting from late autumn, cold waves from Seberia and Mongolia go down to China torrentially, sometimes the tmeperature drops by more than 10 degrees within 12 hrs! you know, Shanghai is a costal city, 10+ degrees within 12hrs is horrible! well, i feel really sorry for those who died from extreme coldness in Russia! anyway, cold weather is damn terrible! and thats why i hate winter!
