The 2008 Independent Music Awards have nominated the band for ‘Best Artist’. New album ‘In Rainbows’ is nominated for ‘Best Album’. Last year, Thom Yorke was nominated in three categories, where he lost in two categories (’Best Album’ & ‘Best Male Artist’), but ‘The Eraser’ did win a Plug Award in the Dance/Electronic album category. The winners of the Plug Awards will be announced on March 6th, 2008 in New York City. Artists and presenters will be announced soon. Not only BBC 6Music (on Monday) will have an interview, but Zane Lowe will be talking to the band as well. Radiohead will be guests on Zane Lowe’s show on BBC Radio 1 on Tuesday November 20th from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs. And then a tv bit; on the NBC show ‘Life’ Radiohead’s new track ‘All I Need’ was played in the last scene of the show.
