well we were skiing today, that was nice.. but i think it was just another day as well. the only christmas thing was that we had a special dinner, we were singing carols and we got presents. but nothing special really. a relaxing day in fact.

today, i finally gave presents to my friends and my boyfriend. i gave him a bond calendar, map of compact discworld by terry pratchett and black tea. i got a book by woody allen - without feathers and a cd, london calling by the clash, so i'm looking forward to it :)

we've got something similar here... but: we've got no santa, but ježíšek (it's a baby, young christ - i don't like the idea that a baby brings you presents :lol: ) and on the 31st is silvestr.... you might know it;)

st. nicholas, when's the holiday? we've got a special holiday december 5th, it's called mikuláš. i got some money, an advent calender and some sweets. i'm going to do all the shopping tomorrow, but i have no idea what to buy. :)

yeah, haggis as well :rolleyes: anyways, i saw some haggis tins in a store. and i saw a vegetarian haggis tin. i've no idea what was in the tin. and i didn't want to know it.

well, i've been to the united kingdom for three times. i think i'd recommend edinburgh, liverpool, london and brighton to you. those cities are really nice in my opinion. and scotland is all very interesting, with its history, castles and nature.
