  1. Yep, that's the one where I saw John Elway. :D

    That's why I take pills every day! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) (I wish I was joking) (But at least I have a sense of humor about it)
  3. Center City is the place to be. :P It's probably where I'd be if I could afford it.

    :/
  5. WHAT! u live in Center City? like...near Jefferson? I wish! I live just on the other side of the Schuylkill river in Powelton Village. (I have no idea why I'd think that you would have any idea where that is, living a couple thousand miles away, but you at least know Thomas Jefferson University *shrugs*)
  6. Stevie Wonder - "You've Got it Bad Girl"
  7. Ram them with your car. RAM THEM.
  8. I can't even remember the last time I watched a game in which Calgary was the home team. I'm very much an east-centered hockey fan.
  9. Oh, I'll "meet" them all right. ;) Actually, one time I happened to be walking past the fancy hotel downtown where most famous people stay and John Elway of all people walked out of the front and into a limo.
  10. Wait... you're accusing someone else of having a problem? Have you read any of your last three posts?
  11. Damn right shredding is better. When I'm making copies I feel like I'm cutting down forests.
  12. I hate photocopying. HATE IT.
  13. heh... heh.... hehehe...... hehehehehehe...... heh.... :sneaky:
  14. Which ones do I go to? Well, my favorites around here are AKA Music (which is the best of them all because it's cheapest, has the best selection, and is closest to the subway stop), Spaceboy Music, Philadelphia Record Exchange, and... this other one on South St. whose name I forget, which are all conveniently located within a 7 or 8 block area in Old City, and The Marvelous, which is a little more expensive (has about your average Tower Records prices) but is only a ten minute walk from where I live. All of those stores also have huge selections of cheap used vinyl, which is another reason I like them.
  15. I was going to say that nobody really needs a five string bass unless they're in a metal band. :P If you want a heavier sound, just find the little knob on your amp that says "bass" (or 100-250 Hz if you've got a parametric EQ) and crank it up! :P
  16. I'll keep that in mind. I do find it funny that you simply tipped your cap instead of giving her a dirty look or an obscene gesture. I guess there's nothing stopping me from wearing my Phillies cap and tipping that to people...
  17. ...When you get out of a cold shower, and by the time you've put your clothes on and come back upstairs, you're already starting to sweat again. :o
  18. Believe me, I know all about being cheap. I usually spend hours shopping for music too. Although I usually go for independently run stores, because they almost always have a better selection than your average chain (Tower is pretty good though) and they're usually cheaper too. :D
  19. If you can't find Muse or Damien Rice, your record store probably just sucks, because I see them all the time around here. :P
  20. I'm sure you've all heard by now about Nick Berg, the American civilian who was kidnapped and beheaded by suspected al-Qaeda members in Iraq. If not: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3708047.stm I guess it has a slight personal connection for me, since this guy was from the town where I was born, and he briefly attended the same university as me, although not at the same time. At any rate, it's one of the most gruesome and terrible things to come out of there yet, and I feel incredibly bad for his family, who had to find out that there was a video of their son's brutal murder from a reporter who came to their house, and now they have to see it on every news channel and in every newspaper. I've even seen pictures published of his family weeping in their front yard after being told about it (have journalists no shame?). I also think it puts the Iraqi prisoner abuse into some perspective. I'm not saying it's ok, but I think most people would rather be tortured and still live than be murdered... Either way, I wish people (westerners and middle-easterners alike) would realize that the "eye-for-an-eye" thing has got to stop. It sounds so cliche, but violence really isn't the answer. It's not ok to torture Iraqi prisoners because you think they might have raped Jessica Lynch, and it's not ok to murder an American civilian because some Iraqi prisoners were tortured. *sigh* The world is such a sad place.
  21. It's all about the Hershey.
  22. *tips cap* How d'you do? *sigh* I wish I had a cap to tip, :(
  23. Tomorrow, IN OUR HOUSE!! BRING IT ON, TAMPA!! Hmm.... if the Lightning are like most other sports teams that come through here, I'll bet I know which hotel they're staying at downtown. :sneaky:
  24. Yeah, I don't recognize a single name on that list. Including some guy who took "Tom."
