Ray Of Light - Madonna Rating 9.5 / 10 (Stand out tracks: "Drowned World/Substitute For Love", "Candy Perfume Girl", " Sky Fits Heaven", "Shanti/Ashtangi", "Frozen" & "The Power Of Goodbye") I'm be no means a Madonna fan, but this album is amazing. William Orbit deserves a great deal of credit for this.

It will be interesting to conduct this poll again after the new album comes out and see if the result changes. Can Radionead, after three valiant attempts to eclipse the masterpiece that is OK Computer finally produce something even better? I am doubtful, but I live in hope!!!

Instead of messing about with the idea of reforming Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan should reform Zwan. I never liked the Pumpkins but in the short time Zwan were around they eclipsed anything done by Smashing Pumpkins before them.

I would recommend that everyone listens to these 3 tracks 1. "Did You Disappoint Your God?" - Neva Dinova I challenge anyone to listen to this song and not think it the most beautiful song ever recorded. 2. "We Will Meet Again" - VAST 3. "Silence" - Aeon Spoke

I LOVE BJORK !!! In an age where the most talentless wannabe's can have successful music careers for 15 minutes, it's refreshing that genuinely talented artists such as Bjork are around. She is a unique singer who has made some amazingly beautiful music; long may she do so.

"OK Computer" As close to perfection, as is humanly possible for an album to be. The greatest album of all time, nothing else will ever come close.

Liam Gallagher doesn't hate everyone. He is just an insecure, desperate attention seeker. He says the things he says because it's the only grounds for the media to give him and the band he's in any kind of coverage. The media sure as hell can't write about how good their music is.

I'm having a hard time understanding why people think Oasis are a great band. They haven't been relevant for almost 10 years. Another thing, I'm all for recycling, but if you are in a band what's the point in releasing the same rehashed material again and again. The ego's of the Gallaghers are considerably greater than their talent IMO.

"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" one of the few songs by Green Day that I like.

Right now I'm listening to "The Reason" by Hoobastank. I'm not a fan but this tune is very good.

I'd never even heard of Metric until I heard this album late last month. I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty decent. One of my top 10 albums released last year.

Without ruining it for people who haven't seen it. There is a very clever twist with regards to Arnold Scwarzenegger's character in the film Total Recall.

I really need to add Jim Carrey's name to my previous post. There is no one else in the film industry more annoying than him. To describe Jim Carrey as an actor is insulting to all real actors. The truth of the matter is, he is a professional idiot who gets paid millions to appear on screen as himself; ie an idiot.

In the eyes of the music press, Yes! There has been a kind of backlash against Coldplay over the last 12 months, because some people resent the success they are experiencing. It's very typical of the British media to build someone up then try to tear them down.

Is anyone else as unimpressed by the record industry's attempts to recreate the Brit-Pop days (Oasis, Blur, Pulp & Supergrass etc.) of the mid 90's as I am. The acts which are being hyped up today ie, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Babyshambles, Franz Ferdinand, and Hard Fi can't hold a candle to the acts mentioned above, and I'm saying this as a person who's not a fan of Oasis et al. The worst of this terrible bunch are Hard Fi. How did they manage to blag a record deal? I could fart into a brown paper bag and it would sound better than the rubbish they are inflicting on the airwaves. I think I can say with confidence that none of these bands will still be around in ten years time. If I'm wrong I'll eat my shorts. PS. As always, when I make a disparaging remark about a singer or band that I dislike, I don't do so to annoy or upset anybody. I'm just voicing my opinion. And I'm curious to know who agrees or disagrees.

I have to Say Freddie Prinze jr. Whenever I see a film with him in it, he's like a plank of wood. I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say he deliberately portrays the characters he plays as being wooden, but some how I don't think so.
