I understand you, guys, and know what you're feeling. But think that maybe the old songs also were inspired by other people. Who knows if Chris wrote 'Yellow' thinking about an ex-girlfriend who still love her to. And, despite of this, we still love that song. I think the most important is that we can feel identified with the meaning and the lyrics of the song. Now is Gwyneth but tomorrow could be the girl from Tesco's... But we always can imagine that he sings for us... :D
