  1. Love the melody. Super excited!
  2. Because the physical albums are much more expensive. Let's hope it's a real gem like HYSTW.
  3. It doesn't specifically, but if it's the iTunes preorder track it'll be straight from the album.
  4. 1. Paradise 2. Paradise (Radio Edit) 3. Paradise (Instrumental)
  5. I don't know why so many people are assuming Phil's tweet meant that those two songs were 'Paradise' b-sides. I definitely think he was referring to the album.
  6. My predicted tracklist: 1. Cartoon Heart 2. Famous Old Painters 3. Spanish Rain 4. U.F.O 5. Wedding Bells 6. Space Symphony Coming in at 42 minutes, 42 seconds.
  7. I'm trying to work out if it says Cartoon Heart next to it. There's no reason for it to, but it did strike me.
  8. New track: Up In Flames. A shortlist of 16 for the new album. http://www.perthnow.com.au/entertainment/perth-confidential/coldplay-honours-amy-winehouse-at-splendour-in-the-grass-2011/story-e6frg30l-1226106001108
  9. I like the studio version better than the live one. Not usually a fan of messing with vocals, but I think the vocal effect fits the style of the song completely.
  10. There are plenty of fucking morons around with stupid opinions. You're definitely not one of them. Thanks for all the awesome insights Debs, and for going above and beyond to keep us all in the loop :)
  11. This is the reason I'd hoped that the album would be out before the festival tour. The guys have obviously spent years perfecting every last noise in these songs, and this is the quality at which we're going to be introduced to them. That being said, I'm super super excited to hear a better quality version and even more excited for the LP!
  12. How long before I can sing? Before it starts, before it begins, How long before they decide? When the hell to announce LP5.
  13. Thank you :)
  14. I've been wanting to upload some piano covers for a while now. Finally did it yesterday. Politik and Postcards From Far Away: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoJJZgu2_AU]YouTube - Coldplay - Politik (Live 2003 piano cover)[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_bEpOIFhrA]YouTube - Coldplay - Postcards From Far Away (piano cover)[/ame]

I'd put my bets on Amsterdam, but it'd be nice to hear Warning Sign, Don't Panic and Trouble again. White Shadows, Swallowed and the majority of X&Y too for that matter but there's no way that'd happen.
  16. God, this new-LP5-information-but-not-actually-revealing-a-thing cycle is starting to kill me.
  17. I agree. The studio versions are meticulously crafted (in this case over a very long period of time!). They're the note-perfect end product that the band want us to hear. As exciting as hearing new material at these festivals will be, I can't help feeling the songs will be spoiled by coming into the world through crappy bootlegs from festival audio. The guys are taking extra time in the studio because they obviously want the finished material to be just right. That's what I want to hear first.
  18. They're all AROBTTH discarded tracks. Also, I didn't realise there was so many LRLRL tracks from Australia.
  19. I'd love MTM to be a little cryptic gem thrown in by 42 for sport, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the Oracle will tell us in a few days that, "oh, no, he was referring to blah". Blah being something horribly trivial. Maybe I'm being too sceptical, but a good year of over-analysis and dead end clue searching tends to do that to a fan!
  20. The Bakery is where Viva was predominately recorded; the Beehive is being used together with The Bakery for the LP5 recording sessions. They are in the same street, up the road from one another.
  21. Violet Hill Lovers in Japan Cemeteries of London Life in Technicolor II Glass of Water
