Last time you cried...
I'm changing my answer to this morning. I had a dream about my late grandfather having dinner with us and I knew that as soon as dinner was over he'd "fade off" or something... I woke up crying

Huntley's mum - I want him dead!
Bah, that's such a sad case  he's one twisted scum, but yesterday I spent three hours reading all his stories from The Sun, you can't really blame him for being the beast he is. His life has been quite a disaster, he seemed like a great kid. That's really awful of his mum to say these things, though.

HANUKKAH!
ARE YOU SURE? I WAS ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THIS WAS WHEN YOU WERE 'FREE' FROM THE EGYPTIANS.... WHAT WOULD YOU CELEBRATE THEN? (I MEAN WHAT WILL YOU CELEBRATE TOMORROW) That'd be Passover :) Hannukah: Almost two and a half millennia ago, Judea was ruled by Antiochus, a Syrian king. He attempted to assimilate the Jews into Greek culture, commanding them to worship Greek gods while oppressing Jewish culture and religion. Many Jewsrefused to do so. Led by Judah Maccabee and his brothers, the Jewish people, after a three-year struggle, overthrew their Syrian oppressors. When Jerusalem's Temple was reclaimed, the Hebrews found it defiled by statues of the Greek gods and other religious artifacts. They cleared out the foreign icons and rededicated the temple on the 25th day of Kislev. As part of their campaign of oppression, the Greeks had systematically defiled any Jewish religious item they could find. So when the time came to light the N'er Tamid, the Eternal Light of the Temple, the Jews could find only one sanctified jar of oil—marked with the seal of the High Priest. It was enough to last one evening. The lamp was lit with this small jar of oil and, miraculously, stayed lit for eight days, until more oil suitable for the temple was found.

Last time you cried...
*sighs* Schiendler's List. I'll never watch this movie, NEVER. During my Holocaust tour back in October, they screened this movie on the bus and it was just too much watching two scenes out of it. I'd tried watching this movie ever since I was little but always chickened out. I just can't watch it. We also got to watch 'The Pianist' which is not as bad as Schiendler's List and also I had someone holding my hand throughout the entire movie :) I just... don't recommend watching this movie. It's too much.

Last time you cried...
That's so sad, Noni  I would cry my eyes out. These things make me so sad... Last time I cried? Last night, after sharing my little story in the Iraq-war thread. Bahh, brought some old memories back. But the last time I cried properly was last Wednesday, I was listening to my minidisc player when a certain song came on that reminded me of someone  This thread's making me sad. *hugs Noni*
