  1. Checked stubhub for this and the other shows. Still out of my price range. Ugh. $200-over $400. Just not a good time for me to be spending that, even though I love the boys!
  2. Chris spoke of getting the A on his wrist right after X&Y came out. I imagine he got it shortly thereafter.
  3. I've said it before on this forum, but AROBTTH is the perfect album for me. It's everything you want in an album, and I think it should have been nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year.
  4. I'm hoping they were trying to be funny.
  5. Do we really want our favorite bands to do the same music over and over again? If you had a favorite artist, would you want them to paint the same picture over and over? I do get tired of the people who say they've sold out. They're just popular! If they weren't popular, their record label would drop them, and we as the fans would have a difficult time seeing them play or hearing their music. Geez.
  6. I'm exactly the same way. I haven't been to another concert by another artist and I don't really care to. I like a lot of different kinds of music, but Coldplay moves me, and gets me to get tickets and go to the concert location, etc. Nobody else does. That said, I chose not to go to the Hollywood Bowl concerts in May, partly due to cost and partly due to my hubby really frowning at the prospect of having to park there. I am going to wait until they come back to LA, hopefully to a different stadium.
  7. Read the new Goop about the Oscars. Dang it, Gwyneth, one teeny pic of you and Chris just for your readers wouldn't kill either of you!

I have an iPhone now, how do I get Taptap?
  9. I don't believe it one bit. Gwyneth used to smoke, and could have ended up looking "harsher" if not for her good genes. She seems to button her lip when it comes to insulting people. On "The Chew" they were mentioning Angelina Jolie at the Oscars, and she said nothing. I don't think the fight happened at all.
  10. At the Vanity Fair party they sat with Sophia Coppola and her husband, the frontman for Phoenix, so they probably had okay conversation. I just hope they're not hanging out with Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy--I cannot stand Kate Hudson!
  11. Gwyn seems like she loves to party!
  12. As soon as he showed up to the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars I thought, he's either going Hollywood or she's just asked him to attend more stuff with her. It seemed like they had a good time at the party, so maybe he doesn't mind being dragged to stuff like this birthday bash. For those of us who enjoy them as a couple, I think it's a good thing.
  13. What about a tattoo "inspired" by Coldplay? I kind of want to get a "J" on my wrist. It's for my hubby, (could be Jonny too!) and it's inspred by Chris' M and A tattoos. I'm going with a friend to watch her get a tattoo this weekend, it's now or never!
  14. I don't think she's waiting at home alone for him at all. She seems to be with him on lots of concert dates, she's in NYC this week with him, and they went to the VF party together, just to name a few. And if she's not with him, it seems she's either working or jetting off to a party or a function, or hanging out with GFs like Cameron Diaz. She's not alone at all.
  15. I was poking around the website (just google The Chew) --they have whole episodes online. I'm going to watch it sometime this weekend. However, I did make chicken and dumplings for hubby once and he declared he doesn't like them.
  16. Happy Birthday Chris! Thanks for all you do for us!
  17. I saw on People.com that the show was taped yesterday.
  18. I am guessing they'll come on right at 8:30. That's exactly the time I leave for work on Fridays! I know it'll be up on their website later so I'm not stressing.
  19. I love that Chris and Jonny keep messing up the intro on purpose.
  20. It's pre- taped, I believe.
  21. In Gwyneth's cookbook, she makes everything except for pork and beef. NO pork and beef recipes at all. So, he probably follows that.
  22. Gwyneth will be on "The Chew" tomorrow morning, it looks like she's cooking. That means she and Chris are both in NY for his birthday. You may now return to your regularly scheduled lives.
  23. Thought for sure she'd show us some behind the scenes Oscar pics.
