  1. TMZ reported her as one of the celebs attending so that probably was her you saw.
  2. My review?.....exactly what Dianne said! (And Dianne, your kids are so adorable it's ridiculous. What wasn't cool? Just completely missing many of the coldplayers on the boards here.....Julie!! I was so exhausted from my flight from Chicago. I was catching up with my longtime friend from LA, jabbering like crazy and suddenly it was time to go in and I'd missed meeting/talking to some of the CPers :( So Julie, another show for sure!!! What was cool: Coming up on Guy, with security, on the way to the bathrooms hidden in the tunnel. Of course it was so unexpected I could only tell him about being excited for the show. He stopped and acted like he was going to wait for a split second so what do I do? Say "thanks again for the show, we're really looking forward to it" turn and just leave him!!!! So he replies " thanks, we are too" at me as I'm scurrying down the stairs!.... ..am I the BIGGEST idiot around? ( I did have to pee pretty bad) I was afraid Dianne and Tracy would think I was making it up- but her Hubbies subsequent urinal experience trumps them all. Overall, good times on the Coldplaying trail, as always.
  3. If any smart CPer (ahem Dianne!!!) brings a bottle of wine and some solo cups for the long wait in line.... I'll do the Pee/Diddy Run
  4. Sounds awesome...... If we are queuing early, I volunteer to take orders and make the Diddy Run.
  5. I think the reason they extended the give-away is to fill up Sec. 18 ~which as of yesterday wasn't sold out.....It would definitely look weird on TV too if side shots of the band revealed empty seats. Dianne, I certainly wouldn't sell those better seats of yours, I'd keep 'em until the free seat assignments are in your hands.;), then you can choose.
  6. Doesn't it figure to reason that the give-aways are in the sort of 'obstructed' section 18, which here looks pretty much behind the stage.... ....which is slightly a bummer, but you know, gift horse and all.....no complaining.
  7. That's the thing I couldn't figure out....none of the areas offered was GA ...just floor seating, loge seating & box. (I couldn't figure out if VIP was floor but I don't think it was.) I did get a pretty good seat asking for just one ticket but I don't want to be anywhere but the floor....If I can get one tomorrowI might be coming to join you in Cali Dianne!
  8. How much were the Pit tickets....they weren't the 360$+ VIP ones were they?
  9. I would love to make the trip.....found cheap airfare as well....Does anyone know if the tickets are the kind you have to show ID for, or are they transferable? I'd be wiling to try for some if I could resell them if needed....(to a Cp'er here, for face, of course)
  10. It's awesome....I think I'm going to copy it exactly.....same blue too, it's great. How can we order one like it?
  11. I'm looking forward to seeing the design, I'm not worried about someone busting me for a shirt that says Lollapalooza on it- worse that can happen is they'd make me turn it inside out or something. They can't take it and good lord they're not going to pursue legal action so......lets see it!!!!
  12. Declare : "I just know you guys are staring at my ever receding hairline, I've convinced myself all the new material is shit and we're just going to play Yellow 17 times in a row...cue the chartreuse lights aaaaaand.. ..........go"
  13. AS I mentioned in another thread.....I believe there is no way Chris would set himself up for such an obvious critical bulls-eye with this title. I could see it now...."the new Coldplay album; talk about a major minus"....etc. ~my 2 cents
  14. I cannot read through this thread but I'm sure it's been discussed that this is prob the Double M's album title....I am remembering Chris saying that,??....I didn't dream that right??.... Husband asked why not Major Minus.... I said that there was no way Chris would set himself up for such an obvious critical bulls-eye with that title. I could see it now...."the new Coldplay album; talk about a major minus"....etc. So Moving to Mars it Is!
  15. I'm going to respond in my own thread!....on the weekend my littlest guy was running in his second 5K. They were playing event appropriate songs.... ...stuff with 'running' or 'time' etc. in the title.... .... about 2 minutes before he hit the finish 'Clocks' started on the PA system.... He crossed at "Home, home, where I wanted to go...." I thought it was a perfect moment for him and his CP loving mama!
  16. Dammit, that was mine.

^^^^^SAME SAME^^^^^ So quiet, so simple, so perfect.
  18. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!!
  19. This just stinks. I was looking forward to meeting some new Cpers some of whom I'm sure will bail to head for Muse now. Damn I was stoked to see Muse. Crap.
  20. Yeah, I think this is the first time we'll meet as well, right Christa?
  21. Mike, I haven't been to a festival type concert in ages so I'm not up to speed on how the whole entrance/gate thing works. Do you think this mean you'll have to wait in line to get your wristband? I was afraid to try and save the extra dough because I was worried that would mean a second line when they opened the gates @ 11:00.
  22. I actually do now too for the same reason... They make me smile when I think about lovely, lovely, wintertime in London. ( but I remember thinking they were some funky lyrics at first)
  23. Aren't these Twitter-leaks quite the opposite from the old days ?!- Remember when Chris wouldn't even put the lyrics in liner notes, or explain them even after the records were hits, because he thought they were shit. I kind of like these already. Mich, there might be hope for him to salvage his rep from the mess that was "I took my feet to Oxford Street" right?
