Hey Numbers, I didn't realize you were in Detroit! I'm going to try for a copy Tue. here in Chicago. If I can get a second I'll def. try to hook you up. I can't figure out why they didn't mail/freight a couple of boxes of these suckers to record stores all over the world, really, are there no Radiohead fans in Central or South America??? Why concentrated on the East/West Coasts in the States. Middle America always feels left out of gig circuits. This would have been a great way to include these kinds of places with very little expense. Bummer.

Yup, because it's just speculation that Stanley Donwood = Chieftan. (And also not that "Miller knows all" about anything music related just because he is a Coldplay Roadie. It's just interesting.)

Okay Yall, I am way too old and way too tired to read through this whole thread so forgive me if this is old news but, Is anyone here aware of the gigantic conspiracy that was swirling about before the release of info on the the newspaper/http://theuniversalsigh.com thingee. It involves the Twitter of Stanley Donwood and his alias Chieftan Mews. There's an entirely insane thread on Mortigi Tempo. Most of it completely squirelly and based on the fact that Stanley is following Chieftan on Twitter but it's fun if you are a rabid fan and especially if TKOL left you wanting. (Finally, here's is a little note of interest that none of the Mortigi boarders know. One of Chieftan's followers is a Twitterer named Millerworld. ) Don't know if that lends credence to the legitimacy of Chieftan's cryptic tweets about things to come 'cuz he just may be as skeptical as the rest of us but...??? Anyway it's been fun to follow and again, ignore if yall have been chatting away on this subject already.

That crowd for High Speed....???...it's like what a couple hundred???...They are so young...And they are just amazing,amazing. Chris voice and guitar at the end...If those few people in the audience didn't know right then and there, that they were the luckiest fuckers in France, they were deaf.

I don't think you can make generalizations about America and queuing for shows.....I've been to at least a handful where "waiting in line" (as we call it) got me front row in the General Admission section......and we certainly weren't let in early at all. Just saying this to make sure when it comes time for the tour all new Coldplayers will come hang out in line with me!

8 days ago I was sleeping in a bamboo hut, in the hills North of Chang Mai, Thailand....2 hard hiking days into a hill tribe trek. In the middle of the night, on my flea infested mattress, under the mosquito net I hear DA duh duh, DA duh duh.........Clocks. I'm thinking "wtf, that CANNOT be a text message alert? And to make it even more perfect, it was from The Angie. I rarely text, I have no idea how it happened, and I didn't get any signal after that few split seconds ...but it was just wonderfully weird. Technically it wasn't a full song but it got me thinking it would be fun to read some other stories...... Anyone else have a weird or even inappropriate place have you been surprised by a CP song??

It's definitely NOT a country song! It is a song about cheatin, lyin, and pickup trucks......and it's sung with some twang and even a couple of light yodels from Gwyneth.... But it is not anything like what gets played on Top Country radio. It sounds exactly like a Chris Martin song. Especially the yeah, yeah, yeahs. Angie, my fellow Texan, if you're around here what do you think? (I think it might grow on me too...)

And then he put his foot on my hubbie's hand like a footie-high-five.
