Hipsters only like music no one's ever heard of, remember? Hahaha.
  2. Its natural for us to love an artist as a person without actually knowing them personally, because of how much we love their music. But does it work the other way around? Question: Does your opinion of a musician affect your opinion of his/her music? For instance, if you loved a band and discovered they were not so great of people (for example: you met them and they were pricks), would you cease to listen to them? Has anyone experienced this? Discuss.

They both have their ups and downs. i personally like the design of macs and the flow of OSX. I've had over a dozen PCs break down on me, and I've accumulated 4 macs since 2005, and they all still work perfectly, and they've never caused me a single problem, including my macintosh SE that I've had since 1987. Saying macs aren't cool because hipsters use them sounds more like you're worried that if you use one you'll be called a hipster. Would you stop listening to your favorite band if hipsters started listening to them? Its a scary thought, right? Regardless, I say don't worry about what people might think about you and judge it for what it can/cannot do for you. Not everyone with macs has a mustache and wears a three-wolf-moon shirt and listens to The Black Kids. A lot of hipsters use PCs too, and are very pretentious about it, i might add. I wouldn't dislike macs more if I saw someone with a PBR sticker on their macbook. I would dislike them if they crashed on me though. One more final thought about hipsters ---------> Look At This Fucking Hipster In the end its like asking people "Whats better, Vanilla, or Chocoate?" as its practically a religious debate between techies.
  6. learned that a LONG time ago... but for a long time didn't want to accept it...
  7. The Room -10000000000000000/10 (yes, a negative number) This movie is getting a ton of buzz as being the worst movie ever made. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCj8sPCWfUw]The Room - Trailer[/ame]

  9. The Police! YES in that case I'll have to add Queen, the Stones, and Bowie too...
  10. good to meet you guys!
  11. Yes. The best music is never temporary. It is The Beatles at the moment, and will be tomorrow and the day after, until a band comes along that becomes more iconic, more influential, and with better songs. Which isn't going to happen. If the question were "What's the best currently active British band?" I'd say Radiohead based on how how much of an effect they have had on musicians and music lovers over the past twenty years.
  12. The Beatles, always and forever
  13. thanks. Acutally I just started posting here again after a six year hiatus. It seems almost everyone from the crew I remember is gone, but no worries, I like new people too. Got a hair-cut today; first time in a year. My stylist took off 4-5 inches.
  14. aside from spiritual leaders... (gold star for anyone who can name them all)
  15. absolutely. I can't listen to music as background noise, I have to devote all my senses to it. And if I can't, then I listen to NPR.
  16. we were in youth group and sunday school from 5th grade to 9th grade. I totally remember him. He was nuts. A total cut-up. I thought he would grow up to be a comedian or something.
