oooh, i forgot, here's a picture i took of my christmas tree i did up before i came back to uni: the star stopped lighting up, though, so we got a new one :P those are those new-fangled LED christmas lights...they'll burn your retinaes, i swear.

i was thinking about that too. in some ways, i think that for such a HUGE crowd, they should go for longer, make it a bit more special than usual, but...i just don't see it happening. i don't expect this show to be longer, but i do hope it is :D

some people just assume their opinions are fact, which really pisses me off. i think this guy is a good writer, and in all fairness, a couple of his points are a *tiny bit* valid (though he's ignoring about half of coldplay's entire career and therefore all of their progress), but i just go nuts when people assume that their opinion is fact and not a matter of taste (i.e., "_____ band is just factually better than _____ band").

when i was walking to dinner a few hours ago, i saw the same thing, but the image was upside-down so it wasn't a smile, but the dots of the planets were UNDER the moon :stunned: i think there's an astronomical reason that happens, because i'm in a different location and all.
