yeah, i doubt it's big enough too. just a random idea in the sake of organization :D OMG SO EXCITED. i really have to get thinking about what i'm going to WRITE, though. i feel like i have my ideas for the cards themselves together and will print them this weekend, but i don't want to be too mushy or too "OMG I LOVE YOU" on the card--i want it to be meaningful :thinking:

haha, is there any chance the project could get its own section or sub-section, just for a while? :sneaky: i think it would make things a hell of a lot easier. then again, we'd get millions of threads asking questions in it, but whatever. just an idea; i don't even know if that's possible.

yeah! i have both of those things in the "rules" document, which i figure will be posted in its own thread the second debs gives us an address and we've decided a date to start sending! for now, this is what the rules are, but they're constantly changing and being edited:

we wait till she gives us the address. but once she does, we all have to come up with a date to START sending them and a date STOP sending them (which might actually be determined by debs herself). i think we should all be thinking about that now. in the meantime, start working on your postcards! if debs sets up the PO box soon, i would imagine we should start sending early-mid november, but that's just me. and that's just around the corner! i'm drafting the follow-up email now :D debs also said that she thinks it would be best if the cards reach coldplay all at once (like we think!), so she really gets the project. this is probably the best news we could have hoped for.

OMG!!! yay debs!!! :dance: i'm actually somewhat surprised they're willing to help us in that way, but YESSSS. i couldn't have asked for better myself :D so she'll let us know where to send them soon?

last night i was having a nice dream that involved will and the door of the bakery and finding a whole bunch of postcards. in the dream, he seemed very touched. then i was woken up by a fire alarm :dozey:

aww, our own thread :nice: i'll probably be back posting here tonight at some late hour...when i'm HOME :D we had a effing fire alarm at 3:30 AM this morning, which made me oversleep by an hour and almost miss that arabic quiz i was studying for :dozey:. what a lovely day this is already. also, about the butterflies: i don't have floor seats, but after the concert i plan to go down to the floor level and scoop up as many as i can :D. it's worked for some other people, and i want as many butterflies as i can get!

oh sarah! that's awful. a similar thing actually happened on my campus last year to a dorm. this year, i've been here six weeks and my building has had 12 fire alarms, usually 3 in one day :dozey: anyway, i'm going to go to bed, but then i have a 4-day weekend, and i get to go HOME! :dance: home, home, where i wanted to go :P lovely talking to you all :heart:

i feel like jonny would be the nicest of all of them (not that any would be mean, but i can't like, ever imagine jonny being anything but cute and smiley and kind). i think i'd probably lose bladder control upon seeing chris thaaaat close to me, though. i almost did at the today show, but that was different since i was in a big crowd. i like my avi, but i've had it forever. i think i need a change soon :D

ditto about london/england in general. i know i'm going to be an expat for a while, starting next year :D and, yes, i meant to say that anyone can use the templates if they want, but that's just how i was going to do my backs :dance:

also in my procrastination, i made the backs to my postcards :P i don't expect my logo to become the official one, so i thought i'd still make SOME use of it, since it took me awhile to figure it out :P

^good point :P :rolleyes: i'm on arabic overload. i don't even know what i really want to do, lore. actually, i know what i want to do, and that's nothing, so that's not happening :P really, i just want to have kids and write things when i have time. mostly, i just hate living at uni. i think i'd be a lot happier if i could live at home.

i should be learning arabic verb forms :dozey: i end up here because recently i've had a lot to procrastinate, and i hate uni. so in the past year, i've become a really insanely active member here in order to have some fun with people that are like me, and it's been great :D

i like the hair and close shavenness of VLVOD, but i like the clothes of parachutes and AROBTTH best i can't say what personality i like best, though. i don't feel he's changed *that* much, but i think he's been especially hilarious these days.

weeoo :D but is it one of those that you can multiple vote for? because if someone submits a really awesome logo late and we've already voted, that's kind of sad... NY time? i don't think it really matters; i just say NY time because that's my time zone :P

yeah, definitely. and another thread to vote for how we deliver them? because i'm a geek, i have an MSword document explaining the plans as we know them and listing the pros and cons of each one for easy voting :D

it's on my reading list, which is sooo long when i'm at uni :sad: most of my favorite authors and books are really contemporary, though. i'm a HUGE ian mcewan fan (and am going to his university next year with a chance to work with him, perhaps!) @lore: should we set a deadline for people to submit logos by? i feel like we should start voting on them like, tuesday at the latest. i think things are going to start moving pretty fast when/if we get a response from debs.

ooh yay! i really do say the more the merrier. i know some people are adamant about it being only coldplayers, but really i don't think the band will care what websites their fans are affiliated with. its all about saying thanks :D

haha, we are so offtopic, but i guess we deserve it a bit after all that! :lol: i got a postcard from my friend in sweden today, and it reminded me of the project :D
