i've always been paranoid about dropping my cell phone in the toilet because i've hard so many horror stories about it. so i always hold mine when i go into the bathroom. however, when i was about three, i was going to the bathroom and happened to be holding my blankie. i finished and flushed without realizing the very end of my blankie was draped into the water...and all hell broke loose. imagine a three-year old having a tug of war with a toilet, trying to get her blankie back. it was traumatizing, to say the least. at least i won in the end. :P

had a coldplay dream last night in which i was at a coldplay concert (though a very small one, and it was just chris there), and before he started playing, chris was going around shaking hands and everything, and i was one of the first ones he came to. i was basically wetting myself, so i just said "hi" and shook his hand and asked how he was. he said that he was good, and i think this concert was the night after the today show performance, because i said "i got up at 2 in the morning today to go see you on the today show, and now i'm here!" and he got an impressed/weirded out look :P i had basically front row seats for this concert, and the whole time i was just thinking of how awesome my pictures were going to be. how i wish all that actually happened...

i have nosebleed seats in NJ and probably wont get to touch any butterfly confetti from there :sad: but i'm going to try my damndest to sneak down to the lower level after the show and scoop up a few handfuls before the janitors sweep them up. for some reason i really want some of this confetti.

i really hope chris was joking, and i think he was for the most part. but REALLY. miley effing cyrus?! i bet apple watches hannah montana for christ's sake. that does NOT mean he should do a duet with her.

wow, well this is interesting. i kind of would have liked to see it myself, but i trust them. no crap zone :laugh4: i wonder if the VIVA shirt (the letters V-I-V-A one) will be pulled. chris seemed to like that one enough to wear it at the TODAY show :P i wonder if the merch will be replaced with other things deemed "better"? i hope so, anyway. i'm such a merch-geek.

:dance: :dance: :dance: well, something tells me there's a high probability of this march EP being high-grade martin BS because march is rather far in the future, but, if not...YAY!!! though if i'm being picky, i'd like the EP in the late fall/winter, and then a new album in the late summer/fall of 2009 :P

i'm going to paris almost definitely in two weekends, and my main stop is the louvre. of COURSE i want to see the louvre anyway, duh, but the fact that the *real* "liberty leading the people" is there makes it all the more appealing :nice: and i'll be wearing my viva la vida t-shirt and listening to the song all the way there, i promise :D. well, that song and the amelie soundtrack :P

semy, that's amazing! :stunned: my goodness. did you start out by editing a photograph, or did you do everything by hand? because i think the face is really really cool, but the jacket and the fingers and everything are so perfect and real and chris that if you did that by hand, i'd be a bit freaked that anyone could draw that well :P

ok, i'm listening to the new album for the first time (even though i bought it weeks ago before i left america), and i'm not even all the way through and i had to come here and express my love for it. i've always appreciated sigur ros and loved a few songs, but i always secretly thought that jonsi's voice wastoo high for my liking and that kept me from being a rabid fan. but i think this album (i'm not even going to try to write it or say it) is what's making them "click" with me, just like other albums have for other bands. i'm completely obsessed with this. it's incredible, and i now have to go back and re-listen to everything else they've ever done, because i have a feeling it'll all sound so much more amazing to me now. goodness, this is incredible.

haha, there's also some FB application called istalker or something like that (it had "stalker" in the name) which pins the photo of the last person that viewed your profile to your profile. i was descreetly stalking some guy that i knew from college, and i SCREAMED when i saw a huge version of myself on his profile and quickly exed the page. i wonder if he knows i was on his page, or if someone else viewed it in the meantime...

if i had been a tad bit closer, had been alone without my brother and mom there, and it hadn't been so early, i would have been MUCH more maniacal than i was. but i was so focused on making memories for myself and recording audio/video for everyone else here that i didn't have time to really go too insane :P
