^ditto on that. chris singing that song in the studio version gets me every time, no exceptions. i love belting it out when i'm driving because no one can make fun of me then. SUCH a brilliant song.

hahaha! that looks great! the bit with the sheep was especially great. i, erm, had a slightly hard time understanding what they were saying in some parts, though. interesting, really, because i counted myself fairly good at understanding certain british accents. that was slightly hard to decipher in parts though.

^i actually wiki'ed spaced as well, so i know what ends up happening in that flashback. i've got to stop doing stuff like that! yes, well i have NO problem with dramas, as my obsessive love of house and ER attests to. but don't feel like you've got to find them for me if you're tired; i can always look myself. but it seems like the best series get cancelled...i can count at least 3 off the bat that i was in love with that got bumped after 1 or 2 seasons. shame.

:dance: hmm, never heard of life on mars...i just wiki'ed it and it says its a british TV show that WAS being remade for US TV until the writers strike...i'll check it out if it comes on here! gahh, i can TOTALLY see where SOTD and HF came from! these guys are geniuses. i loved in the 2nd episode with nick frost's flashback to when they were little, and his younger self had a moustache! god, this is my type of humor exactly.

ooh yeah... DISCLAIMER (about mine, in case the guys ever come across it): i don't really think that chris is an emotional wreck and guy's a drunk and will's got as bad a pringles obsession as we do on here, and that jonny's the only one with sense. it was just to occupy myself while we're waiting for the next prospekt entry! i swear!! :P

this is BRILLIANT. like 100% BRILLIANT. unfortunately, my internet connection at uni is PAINFULLY slow, so i can only watch like 5 mins at a time and then load for like 10, but OHMYGOD. i think i might need to order a british DVD player offline and then order the british DVDs right now. well, perhaps not, but if they don't come out here this summer i'll be very very sad. I LOVE EDGAR/SIMON/NICK LIKE NO OTHER. this just confirms my preexisting love.

(BTW, your screenstory thing sparked a lot of it! like the hip-hop vibe thing and the line about chris checking this site to remind himself that half the owrld thinks he's smoking hot. your story DEFINITELY gets the credit for that!) i almost put in which usernames the guys actually were, but i thought it would be a bit odd if i just randomly said certain people were actually the guys without their consent or whatever. just use your imaginations on that one ;) i really have too much fun with this stuff. if someone gives me scenarios and i have the time, i can write more, but i'd REALLY love to read other peoples! they don't have to be that long...but it's too much fun to not just try. seriously.

:blush: aww, thanks! i had a hell of a lot of fun writing it. i just hope it makes sense to people that don't haunt the lounge as we do. and come on, that pringles thread is one of my favorites ever. along with mimixxx's "holy muffins" and coldpatrix's "big scoop" of course. you all get credit for the story! :kiss: EDIT: briggs too, of course. lots of those pringles quotes are from him!

Oooohkay, here’s my story. I’m putting it in spoilers because it’s pretty long (like 7 pages in Microsoft Word!), but yeah. It’s not as epic as Semy’s, and it has less of a plot, but it serves more as an explanatory sort of story for what happened on 3/17, the day we found the new site screencaps. It was inspired by this post of mine in the “BIG SCOOP” thread created on that day: And there are a couple of jokes/references in there that some might not get if they don’t hang in the lounge much, but if you really feel the need to know, check out “the Official *Pringles* Thread” by the superawesome Zemy101 and the “Holy Muffins!” thread created by the lovely Mimixxx in the Lounge. It might also be good to look at the “Big Scoop: NEW COLDPLAY SITE—PROBABLE ALBUM TITLE: FAMOUS OLD PAINTERS” thread here in the Coldplay section, created by the now legendary and godly Coldpatrix, since that’s the basis for all this anyway. In Microsoft Word, it’s in the nice, official industry screenplay format (I write screenplays, and this is NOT one of my finest works :rolleyes:), but I can’t get that here, so blah. Basically, I just went a bit crazy while procrastinating schoolwork. I don’t actually think Chris is an emotional wreck or that Guy is a drunk. It’s satire, I guess. Well, that term doesn’t fit exactly right. Anyway. SOMEONE ELSE WRITE ONE!! IT’S REALLY FUN!! And that, my friends, is how we got the best week ever starting on March 17. And it’s also why we haven’t gotten that second Prospekt entry yet: Prospekt’s too excited, and the boys are on a certain website too much to bother posting it.

AAAAND my friend just came in and asked if she could have some pringles, so i reluctantly said yes and she took the WHOLE CAN. now i've only got ranch. dammit. looks like i've got to go to the school store again.
