i know exactly what you mean. actually hearing chris talk about it rather than just reading it makes it seem so much more real. matoran: i'd be interested in a more normal-sounding interview if you would, just to see if perhaps it was slowed down. he just sounds so...different. and the interviewer sounds low as well. if you could manage sometime, it would be interesting to compare.

but i don't really know, seeing as i live in america. they looked pretty much like this in 2003, from what i can remember, though. on the bright side, the US money (the newer stuff, like on that quarter pic that i posted above) uses the alberta (aka COLDPLAY) font :P

^ :D the strokes were the first band i ever liked ever. i found them when i was 12, before i even liked music. i got room on fire for my 13th birthday and i've loved them to death ever since! i always thought it was like a computerized version of a really eroded and destroyed limestone bust or something, but this makes a lot more sense. back when i wasn't into coldplay and my mom was listening to the album all the time, i remember being pretty weirded out by the cover and thought it was an exploded head. i always wondered if it was one of the guys, though, like on the single covers, but now i know it's not. it doesn't look like them, but i did wonder. josh42: nope, it's out on the 17th! :dance:

WHOA! thanks for that! i always wondered about that album art, exactly what it was and how it was created, and a 3D-scan makes sooo much sense! ive tried it once, but it didn't work so well. still the coolest album art ever.
