  1. or we could just do like chris did and buy "95 black hoodie tops, all the same" i dont think i'd dress any differently if i was rich and famous, besides for big parties and stuff. i'd still go to gap and j crew because i like that style. though i wouldnt feel so bad blowing money there.
  2. NYC freaks me out. i like boston and DC and philly, but not NYC. it just seems...dirtier and sketchier than all the other cities! i'm not a city person, anyway, but london is my love.
  3. if i'm rich and famous i think i'll spend all my money on coach purses and accessories. and gowns. i LOVE gowns! i'll wear them all to red-carpet movie premiers :D
  4. ohhh my god, i AM liz lemon. it freaks me out how similar we are. we even LOOK alike. sometimes she'll come out with a line about one of her weirdo personality quirks (like how she cant shop in abercrombie and fitch because its too loud) and i'm like "that's ME." and she pretty much has my dream job: head writer of a TV show. though i dont want to live in NYC (i hate NYC) and i dont want to not have a boyfriend.
  5. ah, boys. cant live with them, cant live without them. in all honesty, though, i feel like i get boys more than girls. i was always the tomboy when i was younger (even if i did play with my barbies in secret at home :D) and to this day most of the people that i most enjoy and consider my closest friends are guys. they seem so much less complicated and so much more...fun most of the time. but yes, more immature. though i have a pretty good time mocking them and playing den mother. of course, i've always been the best friend and never the girlfriend because of this. besides, all the guys i know i've known since we were four and played in the sandbox. it makes them hard to date when their mothers used to cut the crusts off my PB&Js and we used to wear water wingies in the pool. so there's my curse with guys.
  6. hahaha, i was waiting for one of these to turn up. sometimes i think i understand boys much better than girls, even though i am a girl.
  7. i completely agree. which is why its a big secret that i watch it :D i dont even think it's good writing! i think i just like seeing people that are more spoiled and more ridiculous than some of the people that i know. right now, i think house, 30 rock, and ER are my top 3 shows.
  8. i suppose it is just for inspiration. i think i just have too many friends who follow this stuff compulsively and rush out to get the outfits and then look ridiculous.
  9. ohh, jim... i'd marry him  speaking of guilty pleasures, i currently have a VERY secret one: the gossip girl TV show. i'm shocked i watch it, because it's something i would usually condemn as being teenyboppery, and i do think it's ridiculously girly, yet i watch it every week  sadly, my two best friends got me into it. the thing is, these two best friends are GUYS. pretty manly guys :laugh1:
  10. runway fashion kind of pisses me off. who would you find wearing those outfits on the street or in real life? maybe the elements of the outfit, but almost never all together. and i love how the clean-cut look is in style AFTER i graduate from my school with a strict dresscode and AFTER i quit my office job :mean:
  11. ohhhh the office! i remember when i first saw you here you had an office comic in your sig!! and i was immediately like "i like this girl." :nice: :laugh1: i watched waaaay too much TV during my semester off, but considering i want to be a television/movie writer, i suppose it wasnt a bad thing!
  12. YAY for finding that on youtube!!! (i think we posted at the same time and i didnt see it) i'm sad that its the last season, but i must admit that it's not the same as it used to be...still worth it though! but of course, NONE of my TV shows are on because of the effing WGA strike...
  13. eeek, nooo not the chavvy ones!! like ones you can buy at gap or j crew. NOT the ones with the crazy colored prints that you wear the hood up so you can barely see! girly, nice ones.
  14. no, it's black. well, it used to be black. it's softened into a normal-esque brown color. though you can occasionally find a few red strands in it. i wish i had red hair! but i'm pretty against dyeing hair unless its grey, so i'm ok with brown.
  15. ohhh scrubs. if that wasnt so popular, that would totally be my #1 guilty pleasure. i'm so obsessed with that show.
  16. every time i hear the safety dance, i think of turk doing it!! S-S-S-S-S-S-S A-A-A-A-A-A-A F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F :laugh1: i have a soft spot for ABBA, which is VERY out of character for me, and thats something i dont really want my friends to find out :D also the song "come on eileen." makes me think of my junior prom, which was one of the best nights of my life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z9bPrUark4
  17. chelsea is to hoodies as annie is to cardigans :nice: i think it's because we were forbidden from wearing any shirts, sweaters, or sweatshirts with hoods at school. now i cant stop wearing them, and if a shirt has a hood on it, i automatically like it. i own way too many for ym own good. though i find it a bit odd that i like hoods so much, because i never ever put the hoods on my head. well, unless it's raining :D
  18. i have vast amounts of thick, frizzy, curly hair that MUST be blow-dryed or straightened to go out of the house. it's ridiculous. i wish i had straight hair. i have no idea where i get my hair from, since everyone else in my family has red hair and is pretty thin and straight. i come from another planet, i think.
  19. mine looks quite like that as well! just, erm, not as shiny and perfect. i wage constant war against my hair. like today i didnt straighten it because i wasnt going out and i practically have an afro, it's that mad. i've mostly been wearing hairbands with it; i quite like it. yay for new hair!
  20. i'm agreeing with tracie, even though i'm part of it! (but really i love my new one)
  21. it's like leggings, but STILL. skin-tight clothing around the ass-region (that's not made of like, thick cotton pants or denim) is just a no-no in my book. i can hardly even wear leggings to BED, let alone out.
  22. *tries not to think about delayed coldplay albums or album covers* ...:bigcry: i should change my desktop more often than i do, but generally i have so many windows up (and i rarely shut it down) that i never see the desktop anyway.
  23. your dog ATE it?! does that mean if you call it, it'll ring in his stomach?! (i think there was an xkcd comic about that...) at this rate, you should draw us a pic, anna :P
  24. ^i'm all for full-length. i still think that people wearing long shirts and tights are going around without pants on. every time i see one friend of mine now she's NEVER wearing pants, just tights, boots, and a shirt. i dont know how people dont stare, like, all the time.
  25. and there were some cool philosophical ideas in it too... i was going to download it for my ipod (along with the season 1 and 2 finales, which are my other two faves), but they no longer have house on itunes
