somehow he manages to look cool acting like a complete fool. before i even listened to music or coldplay, i saw him in the clocks video and was like "i like the way this chris guy moves" and then when i saw speed of sound a few years later...it was his dancing (and the song) that first sold me. watched the toronto concert last night again. i have to say, i like live 2003 better, but for different reasons.

the reason its so big is because i scanned it directly from Rolling Stone Mag where it came from and i zoomed it in so its huge. it came out rather well, i think, though i did have to smooth out some of the scanner-added texture. it still makes me look like this----> :stunned: fave pic ever, im thinking. great interview, too. i actually have that scanned as well, so if anyone's never read it...

i think the voting may be over. i vaguely remember seeing the article in the 40th anneversary issue with the sparkly cover. and i remember being sad because coldplay wasnt on there. but if i had to choose, id say yellow is ok but clocks is better. it had more airtime and turned them from into a smallish band with one real hit into a more credible, critically acclaimed band that could fill large venues. in my opinion it did, anyway, because even though i was young and stupid and didnt like music when it was popular, i couldnt escape that song.

was in the apple store again today (jesus i practically live in there) and they have all these HDTVs set up to advertise iTV or whatever its called. well, what music video comes up but "speed of sound"? it was AMAZING in hi def, like incredible. id never seen the guys in hi def before, only on my normal tvs and ipod screen and computer screen. well, and in person too, but even though i was close enough to be sprayed by chris sweat the first time, it wasnt like i could see every detail of his face. so anyway, that made my day. i was drooling.

the guy that looked exactly like chris on that show the tudors that i watch DIED last night of the sweating sickness. i was pissed off because that means i wont get to look at him anymore and pretend he is chris. i was actually a bit too vocal about my displeasure and my mom went "oh shut up, the only reason you like him is because he looks like chris martin!" and i said "well, i never said i had a good reason for liking him!!" grr.

the font on the new USA "forever" stamps (that are always the appropriate amount of postage for the rest of time no matter how much the price goes up) is albertus. i''ll think of coldplay every time i send mail.

this girl sounds needy, like shes bugging everyone to duet with. phhh. i hope shes not on the album. i hate when album tracks feature other artists. if he wants to do something for her, fine, but im not so into her being on their album. she sounds like shes butting in or something.

oh, wow, thanks! now ive seen moses! he has dark hair! i wonder where he got that from, both his parents are blond, and so is his sister. soooo cute, all of them. what limited edition dvd do you speak of? am i stupid? im confused.

i had a dream about chris last night too...he was sitting in my place (ha) at my lunch table at school, eating the school food and talking with the kids there. i absolutely freaked out, but it was some sort of memory, and the next thing i knew i was sitting in that seat telling my best friend about how cool it was and i was hugging and kissing him (my friend). very strange. i dream about him and them kind of a lot, though. most of the time i dont remember exactly what happened, but that they were there in some form. though i did have a dream that they were giving a concert on my school's front lawn once and in my schools chapel and i had front row seats and was sobbing in excitement. i day dream about them all the time, just little entertaining things that could never ever happen. it keeps me entertained.

oh god. this is so terrible. im so sorry for them and baby nico. its so unfortunate in any case, but even more so that nico has to be involved. poor berrymans. i want to give them all hugs. i think its cute that the band is rallying around to keep his spirits up. i mean, i expect them to, but its still nice.

oh my god, those are ADORABLE. she looks like both of them. i love that she has a blankie. how come we never see any pics of moses? i havent seen any except those first pictures from when he was born. anybody have any? or of ava or nico?

i hope he's not beating himself up...though now that you mention it, it could be a possibility... but i hope there's something to celebrate! i dont think there's a new album so soon, but perhaps going back into the studio fo' real now or...dare i say...perhaps a new baby??

NOOOOOOOO agh, this makes me sad. i live ~1 hr away from NYC and go there all the time. its just kinda sad to know that he'll no longer be in my 'hood and theres no longer a possiblility of seeing him on the sidewalk or walking past his house and being like "chris lives there...*squee*" or him going to the restaurant my friends grandma runs and famous people (bono, paul mccartney, etc) go to a lot. sigh sigh sigh. i completely understand the choice, though. i really actually hate NYC and would KILL to live in london. im happy for them! im just missing them already, even though ive never seen them outside of a concert hall. im psychotic.

ive heard he didnt drink either, but ive always taken that to mean he doesnt drink much. Apparently he drinks wine with dinner etc. i never really bought into that whole thing that he's been dry since he got himself drunk that night he kicked will out of the band. i think this story is mostly truth. ill bet that chris did go to this bar, have some drinks, and get a bit goofy. i dont really think theres anything wrong with that. the only reason its making the papers or whatever is because he's a)famous and b) has that clean-cut image described in the first part of the article. if he caused a real scene, hurt someone, hurt himself, or made a fool of himself beyond some embarrassing singing, then i think theres something wrong. but hey, he just had a few drinks and did some bad kareoke. who doesnt?

^that was my 700th post! poking around maketradefair.com, and when i clicked on the tshirt link, i get not one but TWO pics of chris wearing his shirt! tee-hee. it didnt really surprisee me, but still nice to see. im soooo getting a shirt. $15? ill take 2. agh, everything but the really huge sizes are sold out!!!!!! grr.
