chris and jonny were in it for like a second, towards the end when simon pegg is channel surfing. chris is also a zombie extra close to the end when shaun and liz escape from the pub. he's staggering around near the telephone booth outside the pub. and that photo was from an extra feature on the DVD, which is a mock interview with chris and jonny. how i wish they were in hot fuzz too... i think simon and chris kinda look like they could be brothers, but more so with will and simon.

does anyone have just that song, maybe? thats all im really looking for. yes, i think perhaps it may be altered, because he's singing really low. then again, he's talking normally, so perhaps he just sang it low? i dont know, but to me, thats the main reason for the appeal

ohh, i love that DVD extra!! thats one of the best movies ever. i saw hot fuzz for the first time yesterday too, and im completely in love with simon pegg now. he's one of apple's godfathers!

"a message" was playing when i walked into lowes hardware the other day. and yesterday my friend's sister's cell phone rang, and the ringtone was nelly furtado's "all good things," which of course made me think of chris. not many coldplay moments recently...:cry:

oh, that has SUCH potential!!!! that would be hilarious. i vaguely recall hearing something about the simpsons and coldplay on this site not too long ago. there was a pic of chris sitting on a couch with other people, though i dont think it was official or anything.

Hmm. I'm a bit doubtful about the whole "before christmas" thing. I think they would be a bit farther along in the process and would have released minimal information about the album by now if it was going to be that soon. I'm thinking late winter 2008. however, id love to be pleasantly surprised...

the teacher i work with at the summer school thing i teach at likes to torture me and our students with country music, which i despise. i told him that next year or whenever i get my own class, im going to play my OWN music, which is probably coldplay. he looked up at me and was like, "oh, them? i havent heard enough of their stuff to decide if i like them. would i like them?" i really didnt think he would, but i told him to check them out. also, last night at 3 in the morning coming home from the harry potter movie premeire, my friend put on "the scientist" in the car because she said it felt appropriate after sirius dying. then it was followed by "green eyes," which also reminded me of harry potter.

i had a dream the other night that coldplay was giving their first concert off of the new album. i didnt hear any music, but the album was called "Advent" and it was written in the coldplay font in white on a black background over the stage. i like the new "possible" album title better than "prospekt", though: "a new finding." even though i really really dont think either will be the title. i have the 4th album on the brain. that and harry potter.

i thought it looked like will had a tattoo on his arm on the most recent pictures on coldplay.com!! how cute. 60% done?! ooh...i think we're more likely to get it in the winter of 2008 than the fall of 2007. but if theyre getting close to being done...shouldnt we be getting some info soon? like a title and perhaps even a release timeframe? im practically wetting myself thinking about it...

i totally know trader joes!! my school is right near one. what state do you live in? theyre only around here (CT, NY) i believe... today i was at work (im a camp counselor for an educational camp) and the classroom across the hall was listening to the radio very loudly. then i heard some familiar sounds...clocks came on! i hung out by the door for the entire duration of the song so i could hear it better. the kids were giving me strange looks as i danced and mouthed along. it really made me happy though. its ridiculous how happy an unexpected coldplay song can make you!! i was watching all the music videos the other night and realized that in my opinion, the songs sound the best when theres something visual to go along with them, even when its a crappy video like "the hardest part". i cant say im a fan of that vid. but music videos are love, basically.

i only realized, like, LAST WEEK that this was guy and not chris. i thought it was chris for two years now, but then later in the vid you can see that guy is the one playing the synth...

i really like four strands of time too. and the railroads/railways thing is a good prediction! i didnt think of that being a clue, even though i dont think its very likely. i agree about the lazy band thing. though lots of bands self-title their albums when theyre changing directions, and it seems like coldplay is gearing up to do that. i wouldnt be surprised if they self-titled it, even though i dont think they will because theyre more creative than that. and i REALLY hope they dont--i want something with way more creativity! im weird and i always liked coming up with random album titles for hypothetical albums. i have bunches, but i always come back to "logic control" because i have a photo i took that goes with it (long story). i think its too similar to "twisted logic", though.

my brother was whistling "clocks" so much today that i said "why dont you just put it on your ipod?" he said chris was too whiney for him, so i said i had the intstrumental version and made him listen to it. he pretended to be completely bored, but i caught him grooving once or twice. and i work with little kids over the summers, and today we were making goo. they all wanted it to be yellow, so for a while they were chanting "YELLOW! YELLOW!" and obviously it made me think of "yellow".

yes, you can be. i write with my right hand, but do nearly everything else with my left through preference, though i can write with my left and do everything (but butter bread! :D) with my right. ambidextrosity is pretty cool, though it gets pretty annoying when people are always testing you and being like "ok, now do it with your right hand!" though my handwriting with my left hand, while legible, sometimes does not want to stay in a straight line as well as my right-handed handwriting. this is why i have preferences. i think chris just plays guitar righty because its supposedly easier. i dont think all that many people play guitar left handed even when they are left handed (i can only think of three: paul mccartney, jimi hendrix, and kurt cobain). i mean, guy plays right handed as well. handedness fascinates me too! especially left-handedness.

watched shaun of the dead with my mom and brother yesterday, and i was getting really excited around the time chris as a zombie was going to show up. i was like "ok, it doesnt LOOK like him, but you can tell its him by the way he moves" and when he came on screen i was like "LOOK ITS HIM!!!" my mom was like "i would have known that was him any day of the week. look at how he moves!" even my BROTHER recognized him. it was pretty funny. i only saw that movie the first time because chris was in it, but now its one of my favorites. another thing: my brother has my old cell phone, and hes keeping clocks as his ringtone. i think he's becoming a closet coldplay fan.

i personally dont think thatll be the album name. i think its the signature of whoever wrote that studio diary, because i dont think anyone knows...its not any of the guys handwritings.... if it is the name of the album...i think it could be worse, but it could be better. i was hoping for something really creative, and more than one word.

anyone notice how the chords are basically THE chords from "dont panic"? funny how this song separated into two different songs!
