i bought myself parachutes (and AROBTTH) on vinyl for christmas, and i swear, theyre going to be worn down completely in a few years. somehow its so much better on a vinyl record. and now i have all 3, so on to the singles!

I wore black cargo pants today, and it took me till 300 to realize i wore my white adidas superstar sneakers with them. i was alone listening to my ipod at school waiting for my friends, and i was cracking up because i was dressed just like chris on the X&Y tour. i guess its not that funny now, but i found it hilarious then. oh, and i posted this on the "ask chris a question" thread, but... i believe a teacher i had in 9th and 10th grade that is still at my school taught at sherborne during the approximate years chris attended. i could still be wrong about the school, but i have a sneaking suspicion it was sherborne in england. if chris martin had the same teacher as i did, i would DIE. that would be the most hilarious thing in the world! im not going to ask this teacher, though, because i dont want to seem like a weirdo stalker, and i doubt he would remember ONE student out of thousands, but wouldnt that be weird?! i think it would blow my mind.

chris, when you went to the sherborne school when you were my age, did you ever have a teacher named dr. stunt? i think he taught there for a while, and he's currently my teacher! i just thought it would be amazingly cool to have had the same teacher that you did, if this is anywhere near the truth. thanks!

on christmas, my mom and i were talking about all the concerts we go to with my cousin and aunt (though we havent gone to many this year...coldplay, the strokes, death cab for cutie, and the who, which isnt a lot for us), and my aunt was like "the closest ive gotten to a concert in the past 20 years is watching the coldplay concert from austrailia on DVD." i was like "LIVE 2003?!" and she was like "yeah, that's it. its so beautifully done!" and talked about it for a while. i knew she liked them, but this was really cool. she gave my dad AROBTTH for christmas several years ago, and when i told her that i saw coldplay that first time, she went "oh my god, can i touch you?!?!?" i find this very cool. i have matreshka dolls of the beatles like the ones of coldplay a few pages before this one.

^you WOULD??? my god, to me the point is that his DNA is on it. id wear it once for a few mins (so my smell wouldnt take it over), take a pic with me in it, and then hang it on my wall. well, ideally, but id probably end up putting it in plastic so it could never be harmed. i still want to know what chris smells like, and this is the best way to find out!

i forgot about this!!!!! i LOVED this bit. that whole article makes me amazingly happy. tee hee! but you forgot the end bit, where the interviewer says something like "for the record, there is no connection between my nose and martin's balls." *squee*

ok, so i handed in my senior text and will on nov.1, but alas, no coldplay. i wish i had the room to. for consolation, i didnt use any quotes, i just wrote personal messages. i can think of a million i would have used for specific people. though my friend is making a senior movie of movie clips and photos of all of us to show at a banquet at the end of the year, and i have LOTS of music suggestions that include "yellow" and "brothers and sisters". so there might be something. knowing her, shell just tell me to eff off and use some 80s music, though.

was watching the UK rock and roll hall of fame thing and my mom was like "oh, i think chris is in this later..." but i had to leave before i could see if he was or not. my mom was then talking about how nice looking john bon jovi is and i was like "oh, coldplay are beautiful" and she looked at me and was like, "no theyre not. theyre really not." UGH. and she likes them too! i stuck my tongue out. later on i was driving and politik came on waay too loud so my mom made me turn the music off because "it was distracting me". pheh. the sad part is, it sorta was. ive never driven with music on that i was really into, and the normal volume i listen to music on (LOUD) was too much. later on i tried again with it on really low. the scientist and clocks are nice to drive to. it was surprisingly nice to drive to coldplay. must do it more often!

i also love how theyre not afraid to wear the same t-shirt over and over. other celebrities never wear the same thing twice, but on the guys we see which shirts are their favorites. i dunno. im insane. but i like that.
