  1. +absolutely brilliant. i love the slide guitar and the piano chords...its just so wonderful. it makes me think of morning and i looove it. - everywhere ive seen, the lyrics are printed as "ooh, when the sun shines/yeah, on this heart of mine", but i actually think they are "ooh, when the sun shines/yeah, on this coal mine". there arent enough syllables for it to be the first one!! then again, im probably wrong. next: talk (demo)

  8. my god...the handholding ones are the most adorable things i have ever seen. she's holding only one of his fingers!!
  9. +cool original type song, i dont think its as bad as a lot of people say - the lyrics dont make any sense, and theyre kind of incomprehensible. and its not a very coldplayish song. the world turned upside down
  10. only superstition storm

crests of waves life is for living or careful where you stand?
  12. ^hmm...i dont see the connection between U2 and "square one" like everyone keeps saying. i actually never thought about that before, and i can't say i agree. can anyone tell me where they see the similarity? id like to know which part to look out for it in. i think the guitar work in the background of "warning sign" is very U2-ish. i knew it was my favorite song for a reason... he talked a bit to my 2nd concert...he even brought a girl up on stage, but compared to other concerts ive been to, those guys are pretty silent. i think with a few more albums (probably the next one), theyll become more confident onstage and open up a bit more.
  13. i dabble in making my own icons, but i dont have much artistic vision. i usually get too fed up before it looks exactly how i want. im better with actually taking the photo rather than souping it up later...now if i could only take photos of coldplay...oof. you are a true artist, =make trade fair=. ^PS: xpixierosexx, i LOVE your siggy. are you office-obsessed, too? if you are, its THURSDAY!!
  14. 5.5-6 your love means everything?
  15. 10 yellow (piano version)
  16. pheh, speed of sound! tie
  17. +very nice message (har har har), pretty good lyrics, and chris wrote it naked, apparently! -chris definitely had a cold when he recorded it: he sounds all stuffy. but thats also kinda cute....i dunno, i just dont find it that interesting yellow (piano version)
  18. 8 warning sign (thats off the scale for me )
  19. ^omg, i LOVE you! :o Perfection to the max. thanks!
  20. ill bet this one has been in here a million times, but ooh, i love it. it was my favorite before the couch one took its place in my heart ooh-er. i die.
  21. pleeeeease be true....
  22. to each their own, but im a huge U2 fan, and was before i got into coldplay. personally, i like that bono talks to the audience, but i mostly like the jokes and random stuff that he doesnt pull every night. the political rant can get a bit tedious, but personally, i think its worth it. he has such a platform there for his causes, how can he help not but to support what matters to him? chris does it with MTF. and if you dont agree, you can tune it out and wait for the music to come back. i saw u2 last december and absolutely loved it, right between my two coldplay concerts. youre right, theyre very different live. u2 is more about the whole experience, and i loved it for that. my friend actually cried, and totally flipped out when we saw bono outside afterwards, and i still make fun of him for it! coldplays concerts are more about the music, with less of a huge spectacle tacked on, and in my opinion, both are great to experience. i actually wish coldplay did a bit more unscripted talking to the audience, because i like stuff like that. of course, your own opinion is the one that matters, though :)
