  1. ^do they ever call back if you leave a message? i tried three times today, and i'll try again tomorrow, but if i left my questions and number, would they call back? thanks about the hearing...it's more just ironic that it happens before a concert. i have a feeling i'll completely forget about it once i'm there :D. it's more just the fact that this condition is either going to be long-lasting or permanent, which is a bit of a downer. i've had surgery to correct it once, which means i can't have the same surgery again. anyway [/offtopic] :P
  2. when i went to see them in philly, the merch stand was still up and running after the show :D. i don't know if that's the case with every venue, or if they only leave it open if they have a lot of stuff left, but i think we'll just have to wait and see how many other people are in line with us when they finally let us in. if there aren't a lot of others, we could probably spare a few minutes at the merch stand :D. otherwise, we'll just have to wait and see at the end. if there's nothing open when it's over, i don't think it's the end of the world, since they jack the prices up like CRAZY at the shows. it's cheaper to buy online (though perhaps it's the same when you factor in shipping ).
  3. i saw this last night and freaked out :freak:. something tells me we had a part in inspiring that. which totally blows my mind. i'm so buying the program on saturday. even though it's not THAT different from the one i already have, i MUST have those postcards :P
  4. argh, i just called the venue and got an answering machine when i finally figured out what person i needed to talk to. i'll try again in a little while, or call tomorrow.
  5. oh man, i'm super excited today too, all of a sudden. it's like it hit me today: "OMG I'M SEEING COLDPLAY AGAIN ON SATURDAY" :P unfortunately, the weather is beautiful UNTIL saturday :dozey:. it looks drizzly on saturday, so we're probably going to need raincoats. most venues don't allow umbrelllas inside, so i'd say raincoats and hoods only . i'm going to call the venue later today for tips. i hope i get someone knowledgable on the phone. technically, i'm not "sick" because i'm on antibiotics and am infection-free. i'm not going to get gross here for everyone's sake, but i'm pretty sure i have something called otitis media with effusion, which makes me effectively deaf in one ear, perhaps forever. i'm going to the ENT tomorrow, but i highly, highly doubt they're going to make me able to hear by saturday :dozey:. at least i have one working ear, but it just pisses me off...listening to music in my car or on the stereo or through headphones is a completely moot point, since i hear only half of it, and the rest is all echoey and weird. i'm hoping the concert will be so loud that it'll reach my left ear :P. oh, and FYI, i promise i won't be contagious, because i'll still be on antibiotics at that point . even if i'm still coughing by then, i always cover my mouth, and it's not contagious (or H1N1 :P)
  6. i'm looking at the LIT shirt and the new program to buy on saturday. i'd kill for the waterbottle and a new stack of MWLIB bracelets too, but i don't think it's in the cards. thank god i own all the other tshirts already! :P BTW, i don't know if we're going to have a lot of time to peruse the merch stand on saturday...we might have to run straight into the pit and not leave :uhoh:. i might have to have my mom fill my order :P
  7. OH CRAP, AND A NEW GIRLY SHIRT I'LL HAVE TO BUY :bomb: sooo much monnnneeeeyyy on saturday :dead:
  8. ...p-p-postcards?! :freak: i think i just had a bit of a heart attack :dead:
  9. i just realized something: we're probably going to be able to hear the soundcheck from in line, too! :wacky: or, you all will. me, i wish i could get fitting for hearing aids before saturday :P
  10. exactly, me neither! i'll probably call the venue tomorrow and will report back :D
  11. everybody on twitter better shut up about hoping chris is on the phone with his barber  :P. i'll be devastated if he shaves it before saturday!
  12. haha, i wish mine did...when i got the seat upgrades and was in the first row waiting for them to come onstage, i was seriously concerned that i was going to throw up from sheer excitement :P. unfortunately, i'm now completely deaf in one ear, and i highly doubt it'll resolve itself before saturday . *sigh*
  13. christa: don't drink coffee...then you'll just have to pee the entire time, and you can't lose your place in the pit! :P you won't need it anyway :D
  14. hahaha, are our roads really that wide compared to yours? yours always have seemed normal to me. it's more the fact that you can cross the street anywhere in london without getting yelled at by the police. and that you drive on the wrong side. i didn't steal him. yet. i will in two weekends when i go back up to maine :sneaky:.
  15. thanks! i'll try the first one tomorrow or in a few days and ask them for pit pointers. oh man SIX DAYS :dead:. i can't believe it! i also just sold my extra ticket! so glad that's all squared away!
  16. not a particularly visible picture of me, but i'm in the black coat, walking my two-year-old cousin to dinner :D
  17. i will call the venue next week asking for tips for lining up and times and all that, and i'll obviously report back! however, i don't think we'll have to get there before 2 or 3 PM, unless i'm drastically wrong. i say we all exchange cell numbers, and once i get that info, arrange to meet at a certain time so we can hang out in line! :D
  18.! oh, that would be hysterical. those two remind me of turk and JD from scrubs :P. carla always complains that they love each other more than turk loves her.
  19. i will begin massive planning next week, and will gladly orchestrate all meet-up plans if anyone wants :D
  20. brilliant idea! i'm going to go dig out my copy . have to refresh before the movie!
  21. thank you lore, for enlightening me :P. i just thought it was some random thing the FB programmers had fun with .
  22. that's actually really awesome that they'd throw something so random in like that.
  23. i could call the number, since if you're located in the US, it's a local call for me. 203 FTW.
  24. i have to wake up early tomorrow anyway, so i hope there isn't too much webtraffic! i'm going to be on a long roadtrip, and this will be perfect to listen to all day :nice:
  25. i probably would have squeed my pants off :wacky:. but then chris would have beaten guy up for mixing gwyneth's professional life with coldplay, and that wouldn't have been good :P. still, i think that would have been cute (and harmless).
