there's still a shred of hope. i told my dad i'd greatly prefer it on the 6th and he said he'd try to make that happen, but it all depends on when faraway relatives can fly in. personally, i deal better with things if i convince myself they're not going to happen, so for now i'm convincing myself i'm not going to the concert. besides, i don't know if my dad will relay the information about me prefering the 6th to my aunt, who is probably orchestrating everything. i feel like a terrible person for being this upset over a concert in light of what's happened, but i can't help being devestated. this just makes it worse.

my grandfather died today. the memorial service is probably going to be on the 23rd. there's a chance it's going to be on june 6, but my dad said probably the 23rd. i don't know if today could get any worse.

i think i'll champion #1...though i think i should have waited to vote! :lol: damn creating the poll, it made me feel like i had to vote right away to get other people to vote :P @noelia: i think for now, that would just make things more complicated. if there's an actual tie when this poll closes, then yes, we'll have to have a tiebreaker, but for now i think most people see where the votes are and want their votes to matter, so the majority will vote for one of the top 3.

yes, like lola said, i'm going over to england for my third year in uni. if i like it enough and the university likes me enough, i plan to stay there for my fourth year, since it would make things a hell of a lot easier. i WISH i was majoring in british music...i'm actually going abroad to get a degree in american culture :lol:. ironic, i know. liz, you're going to england too next year?! lori: :lol:, yeah, i get that all the time. it's usually not a big deal, because i always say that when everyone else WISHES they look young, we still will! :dance:

i love knowing everyone and bonding with the teachers :D. i went to such a small school that that was normal to me, so now that i'm in a bigger uni...i'm not used to the impersonal-ness :disappointed:. when i said that there were 42 people in my graduating class, i meant that there were that many people in my entire year. that was the largest year i'd ever had, too.
