Albums of the Year 2012 - Countdown
As Graham replied to this comment, you know nothing. I leave it you to discover what he meant by the cover...

Albums of the Year 2012 - Countdown
I think they reformed this year or early last year. Could be wrong, though.

Radiohead
^It does. For me, it has to be something like this: 1. In Rainbows 1. Kid A 2. OK Computer 3. Amnesiac 4. The King Of Limbs 5. The Bends 5. Hail To The Thief 6. Pablo Honey

Radiohead
I can't decide between In Rainbows and Kid A. :bomb:

Where did you hang out on the internet before being on coldplaying?/How did you hear about Coldplayi
What's that website about? I first went to Coldplaying when a friend and I looked up the lyrics for The Scientist in 2004 but I joined the forum much later on when someone on the official Coldplay forum recommended it as the best one of the bunch.

Radiohead
I haven't listened to it yet but I'm happy they shared it with us.

Radiohead
Thom just went to a hospital and took pictures that could make the cover... I'm reading Exit Music and I can type it out when I get to a computer.

Doctor Who ???......
I just want Moffat to explain something for once and not have that stupid "Doctor... Who?" line going on all the time. I enjoyed the episode, though.
-
Doctor Who ???......
:o Why didn't I know that?

Doctor Who ???......
Other than that.... HOLY SHIT. Especially the first post.

Doctor Who ???......
You should put your last post in the spoiler tags... there are people here that haven't seen all the episodes yet! ;)

The Blur Thread
So that's what you meant by saying rock is a young genre. You should've phrased it differently, I think, but it doesn't matter that much. I see no problem with older people playing rock or metal music as long as they make good music. I think a lot of bands you get to see live nowadays have lots of ambition, it's just that the situation in the music industry isn't favourable. I wonder what'll happen to EMI's contract with Blur... I hope they get a good deal out of it, somehow. Definitely. I'm sure they still have something to say, especially Damon. He's the sort of person who always finds something to comment on.

It was cleared up. It's not Thom.

Radiohead
I do! We had this debate with friends, wondering if that's really him or not.

You'll get a proper reply tomorrow but I felt it needed to be pointed out that rock isn't a young genre. Not at all. More when I'm fully awake.

2000 was also pretty bad... Well, Kid A came out but you didn't really hear that on the radio and I listened to it A LOT when I was younger... I can still remember Lou Bega and Ricky Martin and how sodding boring the charts were back then. :wreck:

I meant graphics-wise... some were pretty bad I suppose.

Whatever may happen, I'm just so damn happy it's not the 90s any more.

The hurdle will always be big and Blur will always be hyped up but I think they still have that special magic about them. I mean, we've both seen them earlier this year - do you think they aren't capable of making an album any more? I know opinions on The Puritan and UTW divide but I think they're good songs for a band that was on hiatus since about 2001. I still believe in Damon's song-writing skills. To be honest, I don't care about Gorillaz that much. Don't get me wrong - I'll always think of DD as one of the best albums ever and I'm amazed at how many musicians from different backgrounds Damon's managed to include in his project but personally, Blur are much better than Gorillaz by a long shot. ANYWAY. If making solo music works for Radiohead, why wouldn't it work for Blur, too? They're basically peers (although for some reason I tend to think of Radiohead as an older band :wtf: )...

No, they can't unless they release a new EP and do a few low-key gigs. Except that some people will moan even if the band do that.

The Blur Thread
It is! I've seen it in shops over here so if it got to Slovenia then it surely found its way to the US, too. THANK YOU. What they're all forgetting is that the band had almost no practice at all for 10 years and now they (the fans in question) expect a new album already. :bomb: I've told them that I see what they're pointing at but DUDE, they take literally everything Blur-related way too negatively. If someone isn't fussed about DVDs, concerts etc., then simply don't buy the DVD or bitch when it doesn't get to your doorstep the next second and don't go to shows. *lets off steam* I think these news are very exciting, not only because I will get to see them (even if I have to work 24/7 for that) but also because it could mean a new record... That's it! Don't worry, though. What they/we're saying isn't a bad thing. When does InMusic take place? Isn't that late June? I'd love them to play there as that'd mean I wouldn't have to go very far. Although I think Exit is a big possibility considering the festival takes place immediately after Les Eurocks and not long before the Russian festival.

I thought you were 18. :surprised: Yeah Sziget was confirmed about two weeks ago. I might go there for a day if they don't play Exit. Or even if they do. I can't decide. D:

That's just Damon + Graham as special guests. They said there's gonna be no UK shows for a while but you never know what's really gonna happen with them.
