Seeing as how it appears the Toronto footage will not be used for a DVD after all, I had an idea: If they are going to not put out anything for X&Y, maybe they could do a making-of DVD for the new album... Thoughts?

I just moved into college in Kentucky. Being from Ohio, this doesn't seem like much of a change. It's about a six hour drive. The challenge is meeting new people, because I came in knowing NO ONE at all. And one challenge I found was that everyone associated with the people they knew from high school. Everyone I knew was back home. I have marching band to help alleviate this, because it gives me some common ground with other people. And I DID choose this school. It's not like I was forced to go or anything. I look at this as an opportunity to see how well I can do in a strange place. So far, I think I'm doing well...last night was the first night I actually stayed in my room for an extended amount of time. Perhaps college is going to work. Only time will tell...

It is 10:22 am. I finished with my last class around an hour ago. I don't have another one for about 4 hours. Everyone else has class. I am bored. Pity me.

This is rather depressing. I'm not exactly an outspoken opponent of the war... Honestly, this isn't even a war issue. This is simply free speech. So what the shirt offends a few people. This is a violation of the first amendment, and should not happen...ugh.

No luck for me, they'll be nowhere close. I figured they'd hit Nashville, which is less than an hour away from my school... Still, "When You Were Young" is a terrific song. The video is a little meh, but I can't wait for the album. One more thing...I've not seen much...scratch that. I've not seen ANY mention of their B Sides! Surely I'm not the only one here who has them. "Indie Rock and Roll" is a fabulous song, and "Under the Gun" is a great rock piece. "Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself" (a Morissey cover), and The Ballad of Michael Valentine are great, too. E mail me if you want any Killers B Side love!
