Coldplay was totally on just a minute ago. THey were part of mock tribute to The Slipnutz, a stupid little Conan gag. Quite awesome. They were going through a few random artists, then I look and see what looks like...yes! It's Coldplay! They were on with Patti Smith, Steve Winwood, and John Mayer. Anyone else catch this?

The live shows are pretty good, though nothing compared to Coldplay. Brandon isn't quite the talkative frontman Chris is. Grace, take a listen. It's good stuff, especially Hot Fuss.

Remember too that the earlier stuff wasn't very dependent on drums...you simply needed someone competent to keep tempo. X&Y was more of a beat-driven record, and he definitely did a very nice job.
