i think i am prolly the only person who believes that something as sick as cannibalism is worse....i mean come on, looking at a picture of a kid is in no way worse than killing someone and then EATING THEM. just think about it! in one scenario someone is KILLED AND EATEN!! like Jeffrey Dahmer, he would kill people and have sex with their corpses (necrophilia) . Well im not sure if there is a thread for this already, this is not about Bush's ammendment to illegalize gay marriage. This is a thread simply to try to instill some sense into people. This is a thread where people can recognize that gay people in the United States are people too. They eat, breathe, and function just like any other human being, just because their preferences are different, why should they be treated like second class citizens?? or not even people! The constitution garuntee's equal rights to everyone, not just straight people. DISCUSS!

as i said before, it is actually a needed war, but so much of our credibility was lost when we went into iraq. Im really sick of war, but it has to happen, my friend joined the army a month ago, looks like he will be eligible for active duty right around the time this will all go down...:cry:

its a sad thing, but actually, this is needed, Iraq was not needed, and we would have MUCH more leverage and credibility if we hadn't committed our troops to iraq. Iran is seeing what is happening and thinks they can win now, and so do the insurgents. I have been saying it all along, if there is a needed war, at all, it is with iran and north korea, they have the weapons and they have the problems, not iraq. I doubt we will see action until the VERY end of Bush's term. But who knows? as i said, its sad, but it is needed.

you mention the only bad thing is the deficits...they werent deficits before he was president! they were record surplus's! so technically he has actually done poorly....if the deficits are the only wrong thing...

i hate that people accept the fact that bron and raised americans are going to be a minority here in the near future, and that there will be bills to change the national and state languages from English to spanish, or other such things. My girlfriend is a legal alien from Equador, she learned english while she was waiting for her papers here, she is a good contributor to society, and she thinks its unfair that spanish people can come in here and think they can change how we live. I dont know about anyone else, they can sing it however they want it, but its not their anthem, its for americans. i am all for aliens immigrating to another country, but would you go to france and expect THEM to change for you?

Clinton was out when he told the bush administration about Osama, people blame him for what happened, but we forget that Bush had him cornered in Afghanistan/Pakistan when he started the Iraq invasion, taking the troops needed to capture bin laden and sending them to Iraq. I try to stay out of these but sometimes i cant help it. It is rather fun to just sit on the sidelines and watch though!
