LIT - 8.5 It sounds so brilliant, but I wish it went for longer, nevertheless I know why it doesn't. COL - 9. I LOVE Jonny's guitar when it begins. Soo good. Lost - 7.5 I get the feeling this song will probably grow on me later, especially when I actually get the album. But I spose I just overplayed the acoustic version. 42 - 9 Great song, love the third part and I love how the whole song is so abrupt and different. Reminds me of John Lennon a bit at the start. Lovers - 10. Love this song! Such a cool 'tack piano'. Bass is really cool. Reign - 8 It's actually a really sweet song. It also acts as a great break from all the other more 'heavier' songs. Yes - 10. Soo cool. I love the second verse with the difference in the octave change from the previous verse in Chris' voice. Also love Jonny's guitar work. CSC - 9 They must have had so much fun making this song. Viva - 9 I've overplayed this song lol. Violet Hill - 8.5 Overplayed this as well. But I love it whenever I hear it. Strawberry Swing - 10 Oh it's soo good!! Love the ending. DAAHF - 9 Beautiful song. I love it when the rest of the band comes in instrumentally and also later with the vocals. Escapist - 10. Brilliant way to finish.

The middle bit "God is in..etc" reminds me of a song from In Rainbows..but i can't remember which one.

Sorry, but playing root notes then "fillers" is what makes a complicated bassline (in rock music anyway). Guy is an incredible bass player, not just because of what complicated things he can do, but also how he can keep reserved and not go over the top. Coldplay's music would sound too overcrowded with over-complicated basslines. Guy also does excellent jobs electronically with synths and the like. I wouldn't say he is a shit bassplayer, on the contrary one of the best Rock music has ever seen(heard). Apart from all this, I picked Jonny. He comes home bells ringing in this album. Every song has facinating and brilliant riffs and solos. Will's beats are also wack! I love how he's done what he's done! I agree with Chris when he said that in this album he sees the other guys taking the glory back. It's true.

Hmm that is a point. However, I remember in an interview once I think Jonny said that all their songs are like cousins in that they are sorta related somehow. For instance: X&Y and The World Turned Upside Down. Talk and Ladder to the Sun. etc. So maybe theyre different songs but just related lyrically or the like. Spose we'll either find out or never know.

They designed their own clothes for this tour. So, I dont think you'll find anywhere that sells them as theyre one of a kind.

I don't believe the fun is over once the album is out. With each of the other albums, i loved waiting for them and then also just cherishing them for ages and ages. I still get a kick from Parachutes..and that was like...8years ago?? Viva Viva la Vida!
