  1. 10 (I'm from Australia)
  2. Welcome! Hope you have fun!
  3. Welcome! Great to see another Aussie join the gang! Hope you have fun!!
  4. Hey that's fun to read!
  5. In relation to the time signatures mentioned, if you don't know what that means...pretty much, what he's saying is: Will's made some beats that are weird and funky and difficult to understand. This is good, cos it makes new and interesting music!! I'm excited!!

  7. ...are a new band on the rise. Do kinda...dance/electronic/indie pop music. Anyone heard of them? Check out their song "The Reeling".
  8. Oh :( I wanted it to be true :( That would be such a cool idea. See what happens. The funny thing is that Eno's crazy ideas are so crazy, that if it was posted on any other day of the year..we'd probably all think it was true..
  9. Also, I think if Chris started playing something like "Neon - John Mayer" on acoustic. It might not go down to well with the whole ...band aspect. What Chris plays compliments the whole band, as do what they all play. Which is why they sound amazing as a unit. Fin.
  10. I agree. I think also, that if alternative tunings in this case make it a tad easier for Chris to play the song, then this is probably a good thing. The bloke has about a-bazillion things on his brain even during one song. So if he can minimize what he is playing whilst singing good on him. Although, in this case, with the higher strings being the same and sounding awesome.
  11. Cheers! Great article. Lol at the Los Angeles concert stuff up :laugh3:
  12. I think he has an alternative tuning..
  13. Lol, I'd like to hear more of what they got up to, these..Pectoralz...
  14. I like how they said that the stadiums shows are longer. Which means..MORE SONGS!!! I can't wait to see/hear what surprises they've cooked up for us! Squeeeee!! Will they come on at nighttime? If so, do you think there will be pyrotechnics - like Fix You video...cept bigger and better? I think there's an interview where they mention butterflies will be a bit difficult. O, I'm so excited for this show, even though I'm a trillion miles away!!
  15. I agree. But I hope they're not away for too long. And I hope they keep us in the loop of where they're at. It sucks when their website just goes silent for long periods of time. They should have a break for awhile, but maybe release something small just to keep us all sane :D
  16. Yep that's me! Glad you found the forum!!
  17. I think you're a superfan if you believe you are. If you're not one - you'd know you're not. This is just a thread where people can post about how obsessed they are and how they..deal with their obsessions. I just wrote down a few major points in my earlier post. I think what's good about this forum is that it's a place where we can all relate to each other a bit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's got flak for being a Coldplay psycho fan. But in the end, screw 'em. It's them who are missing out on the good stuff. They're just blind to the fact that there is something more beautiful, sensitive, deeper and just down right awesome about Coldplay's music. It's something which can turn a crap day into a better day, which can make you smile - or cry. Coldplay's music is (to quote Chris) 'a silver line in the crowd'. Which makes me think how lucky we are ;)..
  18. I'll start. Ahem...I'm a CSF because: I've been listening to Coldplay since the early days of Shiver and Yellow releases. I check this place everyday. I check the official website everyday. I own countless CDs, Mp3s, Vinyls of all their singles, albums etc. The two concert's I've been to, I was first in line at the first one. And 2nd in line at the 2nd. I went all the way to London, to the Bakery. And I rang the doorbell!! Yayyy! ...but I got rejected..
  19. I thought in wake of this new article, I should make a thread for people to post if they think they are a "Coldplay Superfan". If you think you are, give evidence as to why that is!
  20. How many people can Wembley Stadium hold for an event like Coldplay? It's gonna be epic! I wish I was there :( :( I hope they make a DVD of it. I'm sure they will..
  21. Hey all. Just wondering whether the song 'I just wanna love you' by Jay-Z feat. Pharell is released at all? Like in an album or single or anything?
  22. Thanks Ian. Interesting article! ...but yes, they forgot Australia *mumbles*. The idea reminds me of something like 'Grace' - Jeff Buckley, which felt like it had middle-easternish influences.
  23. I never found Chris' voice to sound "exactly the same" to a guitar.. ...more church bell.
