Disbanding, or renewing? I think, like in the beginning of all their albums, they start with a new theme and direction. So, out with the old, in with the new. I wouldn't worry.

When will the Toronto gig be put on Australia Foxtel?? I never see it :( So will the friday videohits show just be their music videos then? And is the Sydney show definitely the live 03, not the bushfire show?

Hahaha, there are some fantastic interviews out there, but one that springs to mind is with Jo Whiley just after VLVODAAHF came out. Two parts: Firstly, they discuss the word and accent of the word 'naughty'. Then, if you pick it up later, Chris is dissing Will for saying 'you guys' and does it in the American accent then says again 'I don't wanna be naaaughty'. It's really subtle, but if you get where he's coming from and how random he is, it's freakin hilarious. Secondly, in the same interview, he accidentally fucks up with mentioning crack. And just how remorseful and quiet he is after saying it is so cute yet rofl material! Many more interviews come up, but that's what is on my mind atm :p

Interesting review. Hard to agree with all comparisons made though. Lennon/Beatles were something special because nothing like that had ever been done before. Coldplay are also special because they are pushing barriers like what has never been done before. And doing it with intenseness and depth (I can't think of better adjectives cos it's early morning here and my brain is going downhill lol). You can compare Coldplay to Radiohead, U2, Beatles...Rolling Stones til the cows come home, but the reality is is that every band can be compared and bands are going to have similarities and give and take from each other a bit. But, at the end of the day, Coldplay rule the world and there is nothing you can do about it so blaaahhh!
