Special Coldplay Announcement on Zane Lowe - Brixton Gig 7PM|Listen Live|Blog Photos
Haha yeah, I'm about to go to bed :P I just needed to download an interview, and now its finished  And Pallavi, there's no need to get worked up about this... it's not like its a big deal anyway. There's more important things in life to worry about than whether Chris is a more important band member or not. I was just politely sharing an opinion and contributing to the conversation, so I didn't mean to get anyone upset. And no, I don't think I'll be writing any letters to Chris any time soon :P Anyway, goodnight! :nice:

I totally disagree, but then we all have our opinions, I guess  I'll say this though - if it wasn't for the 'other three members', Coldplay wouldn't exist. Have a think about that

I totally agree that the 4 members are equally important, and I can understand why many of the interviews are centred around Chris, but it is a little frustrating when 90% of the concert photos are just of Chris and no one else... I mean there wasn't even a picture of Will in those photos! Its quite disappointing. But I'm pleased that we're hearing more of Guy and especially Will in recent interviews... its great not to have the same person talking all the time :nice: Coldplay = Chris, Guy, Jonny & Will Coldplay ≠ The Chris Martin Band

where are Leftrightleftrightleft, poppy fields, rainy day...?
Rainy Day actually formed the first part of the song Death & All His Friends, the piano part. As for all the rest, we might see them surface as B-sides to this album's singles, or on the album supposedly coming out at the end of next year.

Martin walks out of BBC interview
I thought the interviewer was mostly fine, maybe a bit heavy on the questions, but he obviously didn't really get Chris' sense of humour unfortunately. I have to say this is the first time I can say that it was Chris with the problem, not the interviewer. I like his sense of humour, but he doesn't need to joke around ALL the time, right? I got the impression that he didn't want to give the interviewers questions much thought... in which case, he should really take some time off of doing these interviews if he knows they're getting a bit overwhelming. The whole 'morbid' fiasco was just the guy's opinion (ok, a misguided one maybe), and he may have been persistent and heavy on the questions, but really. All the interviews up till now have been light hearted and mostly off topic, but as soon as it came to this one aimed at addressing the nitty gritty of the record, for some reason Chris wasn't able to handle it. Just because the interviewer was trying to be serious about the whole thing doesn't really making the bad guy here, in my opinion. I think maybe Chris should take some time out from these interviews, if he knows he won't be able to cope with some of the tougher ones. Just my opinion.

Another long ass wait for LP5?
I think hopefully we'll have another album by late 2009 or early 2010... although I have a feeling that it might end up taking a little longer than that in the end. But either way, I would prefer quality over quantity, so as long as they dont take another 5 years or something, they can take their time on the next one I think

Got the CD?
I got the gatefold one in Zavvi for £9. The funny thing was, as soon as I picked up the album off the shelf, Life In Technicolor started playing really loudly on their speakers! Haha, I kind of froze on the spot, it was like they were playing it for me :D And as I approached the till (during LIT) I heard the staff talking about Coldplay... I think one guy said "this is Coldplay" and the woman was like "woah it doesn't sound like them!". I couldn't help but smile stupidly at them, haha :P I stayed in there until the end of Lovers In Japan, it was pretty awesome hearing the first half of the album in a public store
