Woah, complaining already? We just got the album yesterday, 13 songs worth, and Coldplay have announced that we might be getting another album in only a year and a half, when the average waiting time is 2.5 to 3 years. Am I missing something, because i think this is fantastic news! :confused:

The only song that soars? Maybe. But soaring does not necessarily make it the best track, IMO. I would say about 3/4 of X&Y soared, and I consider VLVODAAHF a superior album. Having said all of that, I love the song to bits. Maybe my 5th or sixth favourite on the album :D

Really great song, took a while for it to grow on me, now I love it. Does anyone else think that Chris sounds ALOT like Thom Yorke when he sings the line: "God is in the houses, God is in my head"? Kinda freaked my out a little actually, haha. I am insane, though.

... Is one of the best pieces of music on the album, in my opinion. Its an exhilarating and spine-tingling moment. I love how you can hear the other 3 guys belting out the "recycled revenge" line... in fact, I find that I had to strain my ears to hear Chris' voice. But its fantastic. Who else agrees?

Well to celebrate this new section, let's kick it off with a new thread! Do you think Coldplay will ever do an instrumental track like LIT again? Or will this be the last one for a long while yet? Exactly, I mean i refreshed the page 3 minutes before tickets supposedly went on sale for the O2 arena, and my seats aren't all that great. If I can have the same luck with this, that'd be great. True though, i hope they make a Coldplay section BEFORE tickets go on sale. I can see me freaking out when I don't know where the hell to go.

I'm SO doing this. It would be the best day of my life ever.

Ah right, I just think X&Y is rather average, nothing special. tbh, I only put Parachutes on the bottom because its so short, but really it could go above X&Y in the list :wink: Parachutes doesn't touch AROBTTH though, for me. ^Edit: And yeah VLV is ahead by quite a long way :D
