If I exclude opera or classic singers, I'll say : Male : Jeff Buckley, Stephen Morrissey, Thom Yorke, Matthew Bellamy, Franck Sinatra. Female : Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera. With special mention to Jeff Buckley and Nina Simone : two extraordinay voices IMO. By the way, I don't think Enya has a great voice at all : there's so much echo on her records that I can't really hear the sound of her voice.

The Smiths' debut album is wonderful, obviously, but I voted Eels. Eels is a fabulous band, that I discovered lately, and really love. But if you have the choice, perhaps Electro-Shock Blues or Blinking Lights And Other Revelations are even better than Daisies Of The Galaxy.

Wasn't it one of the bands mentionned by Nik in his recommandation thread ? I listened to the song he had uploaded there, but didn't like it very much then...

I slightly prefer digipaks because of the easy-broken jewel case problem, and also because on the digipak, the picture goes on continuous from the front side to the back side (I don't think everyone understands...) The problem is that cardboard can be bended easily, and I think gets actually bended with time and use...

It's almost impossible for me to fall asleep while I'm listening to music. It happened three times so far, and I was very very tired. Two Pink Floyd albums : Wish You Were Here and The Division Bell. And one Pink Floyd song (I fell asleep in the middle of the first track I had decided to listen to) : Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
