interesting. the boys are being very secretive about everything. they even cancelled the Glasto cinema thing which was going to be massive. I really hope LP5 is around the corner. Lucky people that got to heard Trouble.

So yes, I have been thinking this on the last few days, and judging the songs we have heard until now, I think that lyrically LP5 is shaping up as a disappointment. I mean, starting with Hurts Like Heaven, I don't think the lyrics are very good, quite repetitive, just as Major Minus. Charlie Brown and Us Against the World are probably acceptable, but I still see all these lyrics as very abstract, impossible to decipher. In Viva we had great songs lyrically speaking, such as Cemeteries of London, Lovers in Japan and Violet Hill. And I'm not even gonna write about Parachuted and AROBTTH because that was Chris at his best. So basically this thread is to hear your opinion guys. Is CM losing his touch? Discuss...

the boys have been very very mysterious this time with the new album. anything can happen, but I really think that we will have to wait at least 2 more months. From the little information that we have, it seems that the album is not yet finished and of course EMI will want to do a huge promotion about this one. Hold your horses everybody, it surely will drop out sometime this year, but maybe not as soon as we want...Still should be a great album judging what we have heard until now...
