I am having trouble understanding the idea behind the letter. Why not post it to coldplay.com? Why the signatures? Isn't that a bit too much? Why share such important news with a very limited number of fans? Maybe it's fake...

By the way, today is the 175th anniversary of the birth of Friedrich Nietzsche, who allegedly is one of the men that appear in the teaser poster. Another subtle reason for them to make an announcement today, but in my view it is looking highly unlikely at this moment.

In terms of teasing and building expectations, I believe the VIVA era was by far the best!

Have there been any meaningful updates today besides more poster popping out in different cities?

I am hoping for an announcement and new music tomorrow But I think it would be a huge surprise since there have been no leaks besides that Daily Star article. I believe it is more likely that we will have to wait more time before new music....

Also, I do believe that when people have referred to the first album as "experimental", we have to read that with a pinch of salt. Unless a huge surprise, experimental Coldplay will still be pretty mainstream.

I imagine Chris saying that the two albums are two sides of the same coin. The experimental album is represented by the moon, a darker sound. The mainstream album (due in 2020) is represented by the sun, more colorful and vibrant.

It is possible that they will continue teasing for a bit more. I would not be so sure that new music is going to be released tomorrow. Hopefully yes, but let's remember that the real teasing has merely started.

I can't believe this is happening! I am really hoping for something sure. My mind was already set to expect something sometime next year. Let's goooooooooo!!!

Really weird this whole thing about "Los Unidades". My intuition tells me that they are doing it to avoid associating Coldplay directly with these songs, since they are very different from Coldplay style and have a lot of other collaborators.

This has to be a side-project for charity purposes.

I guess the new name (Los Unidades) is to distinguish the song style from Coldplay.

It seems like another side-project from Chris... Are J, G and W involved?
