  1. He said that during a live gig with a question and answer session on 30th January from their New York studio. http://www.ash-official.com/details.aspx?categoryid=3n&id=0c8bd25d-58c5-409b-a918-fe8815999abc I watched it at the time ( about 10 times haha) and did mention on here somewhere that he taked about Chris being a big fan and Anna tried several times to record it for me but it didn't work so I couldn't post the Chris bit. I  Ash. ETA. I just watched it again, The Coldplay/Chris reference is at 26:20 - 27:50 At 24 mins they mention Jed :)
  2. I  baby Coldplay
  3. Jezza (Jeremy ) Kyle, he's a dreadful daytime host of a " Lets air all our family problems on national TV " type programme with lots of tragic people coming on doing DNA tests and lie detectors and telling all about affairs etc. it usually results in a punch up. My nieces love it! Enjoy!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HQtj2xlJj4]YouTube- Jeremy Kyle - Funniest Lie Detector Ever[/ame]
  4. Happy Birthday, thanks for everything you do for the site
  5. Many Happy Returns to Carla and Joe !! Have a great time :kiss:
  6. Haha, poor Ian, daytime TV indeed. At least it's not that dreadful Jezza Kyle  Hi Emma, I do feel for you, I have the opposite problem but my younger sister was a 30AA ( size 8/10 ) and could only wear "trainer" bras even after having and breastfeeding two 9 pound plus boys. When she was 40 and had had enough of the low self esteem and body issues she had a boob job. I was against it as I was worried for her but she made the surgeon swear not to give her a "Victoria Beckham" and I must admit it does look very natural, she even let me have a feel haha She's about a 34C now which looks right for her frame. Obviously I'm not recommending you go for that drastic solution but as Jen said "chicken fillets" might be the answer or as Anna and .sally said get properly fitted for a padded/gel bra in a more expensive shop, think of it as an investment.
  7. Thanks for the "bitey" picture Mich, very funny :)
  8. Happy Birthday to Guy, hope he has a nice day
  9. I stood in WH Smiths yesterday and read the whole article, I laughed out loud when I read the bit about Chris liking the shittiest chocolate possible and turning away from the Green and Blacks! Thanks for posting it Mich. XX
  10. Look forward to reading your review Jen :whip:
  11. Haha, I'd forgotten about that video, it's so random. I wish we'd had a proper video for Cemeteries of London, it's my favourite.
  12. Aww no!! Poor Chris ;) He can live with me, I'll look after his clothes for him...haha mind you that green and yellow beanie would make a great tea cosy with a couple of holes cut in strategic places!!
  13. Thanks Ian, can't wait .... Sam can have socks for life if you lend it to me for a week
  14. Aww thanks Maria, XX
  15. Oh my...I've just seen those two new photos  Well shabby chic just doesn't come close haha. I agree he would still look gorgeous in a bin bag but the only thing I approve of is the T shirt (well ok, and maybe the shopping bag and perhaps the boots if he'd done them up and definitely not tucked his bank manager trousers into them. ) Oh Chris, good job we love you
  16. OMG Christina!!! What an amazing experience. :o U2's "The Unforgettable fire" !!! Ooooh he's said before that's his favourite U2 album especially " A sort of homecoming" it always was my favourite too since it's release when my daughter was a baby. I'm so impressed that you didn't collapse in a heap. You certainly have the karma and no mistake! As for those interviews from Bogata, thanks for the links and I hope they reply to you Mich. I hate dubbing, why oh why don't they just use subtitles. It drives me mad when I watch French people for example on the news on UK TV and want to improve my French but instead of subtitles they dub over it so we don't get a chance to hear the native language and hopefully pick bits of it up.
  17. Well done!! Have a safe trip :)
  18. March 26, 2010 - submitted by Benjamin, United States of America Q. Dear Senor Oracle, I was enjoying the wonderful Latin America pics when I noticed that one of the captions refers to the people of Guadalajara as "cabrones", I was just wondering if you realize this is indeed a Mexican curse word and insult? The Oracle replies: Yup I knew that but I also know that it's a term of endearment and that's the context I used it in. It's the same in English; we have some swear words that if said aggressively are very bad but are also used affectionately with friends. Isn't language strange sometimes?? Hope no offence was taken by the way... Six in one day, is this a record, makes up for none yesterday :)
  19. March 26, 2010 - submitted by Alex, United States of America Q. I went to a concert at the Superpages Center in Dallas some time ago, and Chris sang Billie Jean (this not long after MJ's death) when the guys moved to a smaller mini sort of stage just a few feet from me on the lawn. Did he sing it at every show, or was it spur-of-the-moment? Also... He played Green Eyes while on the smaller stage. That concert was the first date my girlfriend of a full year now and I went on, and I'm sure I wouldn't be half so lucky if it hadn't been played, so give my thanks to everyone. The Oracle replies: Billie Jean was introduced to the C-Stage as you say, shortly after Michael Jackson's death. It remained for almost every show and proved to be a popular addition. Green Eyes didn't last quite so long.. On the recent tour Billie Jean was played on the first night in Argentina; it was replaced with Shiver for the remaining dates.
  20. March 26, 2010 - submitted by Carol, Argentina Q. Oracle, before the concert started in Buenos Aires, someone took a picture of me, someone from Coldplay's crew. I was wearing an emerald green shirt, my hair is straight brown and long, my smile is the best... and maybe I was also wearing a hat. I thought I was going to find it here but it didn't happen... Also, I went to the hotel to see Coldplay. I went inside to have some drinks, a gave a letter to a guy called James. I'm sure that Coldplay never received my letter. Maybe I was in the same room as you and didn't know that. At "The Library Lounge". Just to tell you!! Bye If you ever find that picture and wanna send it to me :)- Now, I remember, maybe I saw you. You were sitting in a table with another man at "The Library Lounge" and looked deeply in my eyes.I passed by your side cause I wanted to talk to the body-guard of Coldplay. Whatever it was, it was really fun. The Oracle replies: Hey Carol, James remembers you and tells me that yes, he gave the letter to the band. I was indeed in the Library Lounge and in fact was stood next to Geoff - band's security - so you probably did see me without knowing. I have some photos of fans outside the hotel and you're probably in one of those but they weren't the best quality so I didn't include them in my album, sorry!
  21. There's more!! March 26, 2010 - submitted by Christina, United States of America Q. Hello Oracle! Quick question. What kind of camera does Anchorman use for the photoblogs? Thanks! The Oracle replies: Quick answer: Nikon D40. Is this "our" Christina ?? If it is she's on her way to London , but I expect there are more than one Christinas in The US of A :)
  22. Warchild !! Off to get a haircut now, see you later aligators
  23. March 26, 2010 - submitted by Angela, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle it comes to my attention that every time I look at ur pictures I can not find any of Monterrey, and I wonder why are you leaving Monterrey behind??? There was not a single after show article and not puppet picture and not a single picture is your album!! I'm a little sad because me and friends from the US travel all the way to Monterrey to see the show and yet it looks like it wasn't that important to you like it was for us!! Anyway, still love you!!!! Good day!! The Oracle replies: I always notice that wherever the last date of the tour, the less is shown or written. Try and take it as pure exhaustion. Sometimes Roadie #42 reports back or we will have photos but at the moment it's all very spontaneous... The photos of Bat for Lashes in my 'album' were taken in Monterrey. I love the fact that you aren't actually from there but feel hard done by! It was very important and we had a great time; I did report back that I think the crowd was the loudest of the tour... March 26, 2010 - submitted by Rosie, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle, I was wondering, Does Guy pronounce his name like "look at that guy" or like gee? just wondering! Thanks The Oracle replies: Wonder no more Rosie because his name is pronounced Guy (as in look at that guy over there) but I confess to calling him Guy (Gee)_ when on tour. I have no idea why but it felt right to call him an intercontinental name during the tour. My French friend's son is called Guy (Gee) and I always feel weird pronouncing it like that.
  24. Aww bless him...:) Thanks Mich, has he been raiding the charity shops again for that hat??
