  1. :rolleyes:Someone not feeling well?
  2. Quantum mechanical tunneling may help us discover better photovoltaic methods.. How are the palm trees beside your Holiday?
  3. Is this a trick question? I am here, traveling on a spinning planet, circling this yellow sun, flying along in one of the outer arms of the milky way galaxy. Quantum mechanics - what's the Schroedinger's equation for the probability density of an electron orbiting a proton? (5 points).
  4. What on earth are you talking about here!:P
  5. I am fine. What's with the 'sneaky' mood there?:laugh3:
  6. I need to go get some sand. I've got a collection of common crustal elements, and it would be good to have a sample handy, as a reminder. "In the future, there will be no shortages."
  7. You know that's so true! (but thank goodness someone keeps the original in the wrapper - then it can be remastered for us to listen to again!:laugh3:) I thought it was funny watching the checkout gal here at our local U-fill giving Bono the eye-exam when he handed her his ID.. (it must have taken here a good two minutes gazing lovingly into his eyes - I think actually enjoyed it though.:P)
  8. to the Danish gal above: ^ has a charitable obsession (a good one, I might add.;)).
  9. Also mass=Energy/speed of light^2. It takes a lot of energy just to make a tiny bit of matter, so use energy wisely - it really does matter!:P (alright, it's a poor pun, but I couldn't resist the pull of gravity..)
  10. Ever wonder why things are so slow to change? I began to wonder myself why things are as they are - even the global inequities involving trade and monetary policy are deeply affected - and solving issues of global poverty, instability, and terrorism are all linked to greater social flaws that need to be fixed. I wandered across a book and a website devoted to understanding this critical issue, and I thought I would share it with anyone interested:Dignity For All All the wars, the resource wars over controlling essential commodities such as oil and water - all tied to the nature of those in power, and why the abuses of power occur. Plus, solutions. Worth a look, if you've got the time.;) -CK. Incidentally, giving it some thought, all the charity work Coldplay does is intimately affected by human nature, and the regions of global poverty are as well. Oxfam might find it less frustrating if we lived in a world of greater equity and dignity, one run by people who represent the higher aspirations of humanity, and have less concern about their rank & more concern about good results.
  11. :vanish::sombrero:Welcome Ana of Bogota to the Coldplaying Webworld Here in Cyberspace.:sunny: Enjoy the banter, enjoy the show, and keep the dream alive!;)
  12. I'm so happy - they played at the Brandenburg Gate on my birthday!! YAY!!
  13. Here's an article from Huffington's post on Goldman & their CEO's claim as to be doing "God's work." Funny, I don't recall Jesus taking record profits - do you? But there was that story about turning over the tables of the money changers in the temple though... Charles Gasparino: Goldman Sachs Doing "God's Work"? Perhaps it's time for Warren Buffet to take command of Goldman's operation there in the little rust-colored buildings?
  14. Perhaps the thought police will catch us all.. They spun a web for me..
  15. Hey, listen - I'm just trying to help! What are you doing up so late, Ms. Model, otherwise knows as Kelsey??:P

:rolleyes:early bird Julie! What time is it on the Jutland?
  19. ?? my telepathic abilities might be perceptive, but if I have the courage to access them is another matter.. Put your mind in a restful state; be at peace, and all will be good. If I can control my heart rate, I'm sure you can too - it's all in the mind.. I know anemia is an issue for women - do supplements help? Cereals high in iron? Is it not retained well in your body? I'm not as familiar with anemia as with other things.. Take heart, you're not alone.
  20. Well, you're stimulating the economy!;);) (plus getting stimulated by the music - which looks like a fantastic time to me!) There's fewer better investments in life than getting something uplifting and having that larger-than-life experience - it's worth being part of something greater, something grander, something... something with claws!:P **We could all just collect albums, and save them in the original wrapper, knowing they'll be worth a fortune some day (like the Beatles lunch boxes in 'mint condition') - but what fun would that be???:)**
  21. What's there not to like about life? It's ups and downs for all of us. That's good! a heart is suppose to keep beating! anemia - lack of iron, or lack of iron retention? I wonder how much of our problems are simply due to stress in the modern world??

I'm moving to a planet that moves slower, and has a longer year (preferably Venus).:P (never mind age - it's state of mind that matters most..)
  23. LAST LAST. And you know what is written? And the last will be first!:laugh3:
