Catching Spector on Thurs. I hope they are good live. I've heard some of their songs and I enjoy them (they remind so much of Kasier Chiefs btw) so hoping they'll get me more into their songs after this gig.

Saw them last night. Brilliant performance. Crowd was crap though. And on hindsight, Keane should have performed in a smaller venue. It affected the whole mood of the show. And I was quite surprise at how many kids were among the crowd. Glad to know the next generation have good taste in music. Haha!

I haven't but going by how their songs sound on the album, I'm assuming they'll sound pretty epic live. I didn't know about this toothbrush thing!

They are part of NZ/AUS line of next year's Laneway Festival. Really hope they'll be part of the Singapore lineup. Really need to see them live.

With the shipping and difference in currency, it's too expensive! Might have to wait for the price to drop as I'm still interested in getting it. So DVD it is till then. :P

Ordered the DVD version. :D Tempted to get the BR one but it's too ex for me. Might get someone to get me the BR version for Christmas. :sneaky:

Wowowowowowwow! That looks AMAZING!!!! I actually teared up watching that trailer. It was beautiful - especially the last shot with the xylobands. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Preordering! :D

And here I thought The Resistance was bad... :-\ After a couple of listens, I think my fav are Supremacy, Madness and Animals (the bass in the beginning is lovely). Still undecided on songs like Explorers and Follow Me. Everything else I'm not a fan of - mostly because I didn't listen to them fully and have forgotten how they sound like. I guess that means I don't like them? Isolated System is actually pretty cool but it just needs some vocals. Proper vocals not some random sayings/repeat of the title/put in some random lady/etc vocals. This album doesn't sound like Muse at all. Supremacy is probably the only song that sounds remotely like Muse. At least on The Resistance, there were some resemblance of Muse through all the songs and the album actually grew on me after a few listens. I'm torn on buying this album. I don't want to waste my money on it but then again, I feel like I should buy it out of loyalty. And also because my Muse collection will look weird without this album...

Oh Muse what did you do? I kinda knew it was going to suck after hearing Unsustainable but I was holding out hope they would prove me wrong after hearing Madness. Alas, it was not meant to be. And who's bright idea was it to have Chris sing on the album? Not that he's a terrible singer but it was a bit jarring to have someone else suddenly singing on the album.

Ah Babel is just lovely. Absolutely lovely. Broken Crown is my favourite. I actually had goosebumps listening to it.

I love most of the songs on the album. I think my least favourite would be From Finner and Love Love Love. Everything else is awesome. Absolutely love Slow and Steady.

A six-piece indie folk / indie pop band from Iceland whose debut album My Head is an Animal was just released a few weeks ago (though released last year in Iceland). Have been listening to it constantly since then. Absolutely love it!
