Unless your willpower is iron-clad, your best approach may be avoidance. Some suggestions for getting ready for trick-or-treaters: - Shop last-minute. Buy your candy as close to Halloween as you can. The less time it sits in your home, the better. - Buy candy you dislike. - Get rid of any leftovers – fast! Halloween is on a Friday, and you don’t need a bowl of candy calling out to you all weekend long. Give your stash to someone else or throw it out. Those fun size candies are great! We got snickers!
