But I loovve your new sig!!!:smiley: Ok, I was tasked with giving my review of the Killers show...so here goes(don't worry it won't be Coldplay-mania long!hehe) The Good: The band was great! Sounded great, had great energy. Brandon Flowers is so cute:nice: and his voice sounds great. Too bad no big screens(at least on sides), so I couldn't see him better!:wink3: Crowd was pretty good once it got going, even in the nosebleeds. One girl was dancing around swinging her arms...my friend ws like "you should go stand next to her!" I think I just saw what I look like at Coldplay concerts LOL I played around with my camera a little, so by the time I get to Wembley I will be a pro, and bring back awesome pics&vids. Except I have the most unsteady hands ever, or it could be more about self-control with the dancing&singing along:rolleyes::lol:. But I managed a couple of decent shots & vids, though huuuge(more on that later)sound great! (Iknow everyone was VERY concerned about this:dozey::P) The Bad: Well, first of all I fucked up the timing. I was in no hurry to get there early, since I wasn't going for the opener, and my roomie had to study, so I wanted to bother her the least amnt possible. We probably got there around 8:40ish, and we made it to our seats to catch the END of "Somebody Told Me":bigcry::bigcry::bigcry: We missed 2.5 songs!!!!!!:stunned: I couldn't believe it, I still cant' believe I missed ANY part of a show. I have NEVER EVER done that! I dunno if they started earlier 'caus it was Sunday, or I'm just so used to CP's usual start times of 9-9:30(like almost every show I've ever seen). But that sucked.:( The seats also were not that great(as you'll see from my pics) HIgh up, side stage. But this could be also because I'm a big fat spoiled concert-brat!! (Umm no thanks to Christa, and her fanfuckintastic 7th row/ramp of lust seats!LOL) The Ugly I fucked up, again, and though I promised Sarah I'd call her during so we could sing&dance "together," I didn't realize until I was trying to call her that I'd never programmed her phone # into my phone!!!! WTH?!?!:shame::angry: (So, Sarah, I owe you one!!!) Then I was thinking of Christa, whom I had # for, but didn't want to disturb her since she was at a big important grown up dinner:\. But I thought, no prob, I will be good and stay still and make a nice vid of "All These Things I've Done," (one of the best, if not THE best Killers song, and my fave!) to bring back for all to see. And what happens, the second right before the big--every single person in arena on their feet--sing along part "I got soul but I"m not a soldier...????" The frickin' memory card reached it's LIMIT!!!!:veryangry2: So I only got half of that song to show you, and not even the best half:bigcry: So to sum up(FINALLY!hehehe), show was good, it's always fun to see a good band live, and I looove that rush of going to a concert & hearing songs I sing along to at home alone all the time, but with the band there & the singing & the squuueeeing, etc. despite some little hickups!:dozey: But it did make me miss the vibe of a Coldplay show, I couldn't' help but compare. well i'm trying to figure out who the opener is, to see if it's worth checking out...my roomie is not really a fan, she's doing me a huge favor by going, though she is a bit of a concert-addict like me(but not quite to my levels:D)...so I dont' want to go early & put her through unnecessary waiting around and stuff... so, still trying to figure it out! but i think i will have pics or/and vids for you guys by the time you wake up tom. am. but wait...will you guys be back to school and not around anymore!?!:stunned: EDIT; I wish you guys could see me now!LOL.
