  1. no more Nappies!? boooohhh! that was the funniest s#!t ever LOL I had a friend "on the fence" about Coldplay, and I had her watch the video--instantly loved them after that!
  2. uh oh, are we going to have some fights around here between the "Phil is Hot" group and the "Sexy Mr. Berryman" crew???? LOL And what to do if you belong to BOTH???? :bomb: I still can't believe I was there!!! And saw with my very own eyes!!!:o
  3. oh my Lord....they both looked sooo good. but Guy...man he really is beautiful! :smoking:squuueeeee! Thanks for posting that Carlaatje!
  4. lol I think they should fight it out. W/out shirts. In the rain. While Chris, Will, and Jonny watch. :wink3: (Man, you hang around here long enough, and the pervertedness just rubs off on ya!) :embarassed::lol:LOL
  5. Happy Birthday Will! That is such a sweet dedication!!! aawwwww:) Does anyone know the whole little speech, it seems this video didn't get the whole thing.
  6. but now that we've found out:D...forgetaboutit!! (they should've never let him out at the Today show LOL that's where I discovered his haawwtness)
  7. ooh you should add that one to the new Phil is Hot thread :)
  8. haha even Guy is pointing out Jonny's perviness! maybe he feels he's gotta make up for the lack of Chris's silly comments...
  9. so Jonny is a boob man. Good to know :wink3: Now, what about Guy....
  10. LOL this is the first post I read when I come on today  It's so true, so true. Bitch, bastard, as long as he's sexxxxyyy!:D (Hi Mel!)
  11. That's exactly what I wrote to the Oracle. :laugh3: Let's see if he pays attention!
  12. That one made me laugh:). I think I'm going to send The Oracle a message, rather than a question. "Send all stupid inquiries directly to coldplaying.com. We'll take care of questions regarding song titles, lyrics, videos, and Phil. You take care of things we can't figure out by looking up on google, like important info, for ex--for each band member--boxers or briefs???:wink3:
  13. I was at the MSG show, and the crowd was into them, of course!!! Maybe not everyone was singing to all the newer songs....but I clearly remember that on Lost! we all sang the last line "Just because I'm losing, doesn't mean I'm loooost" so loud, that Chris was surprised and said something like "wow that's the first time that's happened, let's do it again." So he and we all did that last line again. :) So yeah, I have no idea what that guy was talking about. But I'm not too upset about this article, since I could care less what critics say, and we got a cool caricature of the guys out of it!
  14. AWWW that's so sweet. I love listening to AROBTTH with headphones late at night...it's so relaxing. That album has a certain quality to it...especially title track and Amsterdam, that listening to it in the dark is the perfect setting. Also, I've found that listenting to any Coldplay album in the car helps me with road rage LOL. It distracts me from the stupid people on the road, and calms me if I'm in a hurry stressing out speeding to get somewhere (which is my normal way of driving!)
  15. In my section, I think it was pretty much just me singing along; as soon as I saw Will & Guy start clapping, I stuck my hands out and clapped with them to keep the beat, and then a few more people joined. But people didn't seem bored with it, more like they just didn't know it. I did hear some people singing far off, but that could be just us few who knew it, spread out throughout the arena . To be honest, this song is not one of my faves from the album, but live is always better, and fun to clap along with. And every time you're at a show and can sing out "IT'S SUCH A PERFECT DAY!" you know you mean it :D
  16. Oh HIIII! You were there last nite?!! remember me, I was the one who did you the huge favor of taking those MSG tix off your hands;). You're my coldplaying HERO:D, I'll never forget it. Seems like you had awesome seats, these are great pictures!!!! And seeing all the vids for Green Eyes and The Scientist, DeathWillNeverConquer, The Dubliners...makes me wish they'd do a completely acoustic show. Just the 4 of them, a couple guitars...simple. I'd LOVE it!!! I'd pay good money for 1.5hr of just that. To me those moments are more memorable, sincere, and feel more "Coldplay"(the way I think of them) than all the lights and gizmos. (not that they're not fun!)
  17. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3111/2703465940_ca2430e29d_b.jpg You can see a few here, but backwards:) (and I might be really tired, or, don't the lights on top give heart-shaped reflections???)
  18. Ok, i've been lurking here too long now, 'cause THAT totally sounded perverted to me! (does that mean he's ambidextrous??? sexxxy)
  19. Ok, dont know how to stick videos in here, so I guess I'll just give the link (if someone could give me a hint how to put in, next time I'll do better!:)) EDIT: ohhh ok, got it! THANKS YES (loove it!) VLV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3uEWYe66vY (oooohhh ooh ohhh ohhh) GPASUYF (btw I prefer the rockier version they've played other times) Green Eyes (Guy stayed for it this time :)) Uhmm about that high pitch squealing you hear, sorry that was ME! Can't contain it! LOL
  20. my two cents... Ok, tryin to upload videos on YouTube (never done it before, it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r!) but they're better than my blurry pics...stupid camera!!! Here are pics anyway...a couple of semi-decent ones, but don't know how to stick into this message...argh...sorry. Ok as for last night--Was actually able to meet up before show with Jbella and jasmynebirch HIII(and alsomusicman1990, i think)and put some signs on the floor seats. Though I'm not sure too many people held them up duing encore :( Show was of course, incredible. Though for some reason I couldn't get relaxed & totally into it until about half way through. But that's just me...so focused on taking pictures, and checking off songs from my mental setlist, that I was missing the show! But once Yellow started, forget it!!!! :D I just thought to the first time I heard it live back in '03, and how it still sounds beautiful every.single.time. After that I sorta forgot about which songs were coming, and was surprised and delighted with each one that came next. I got all emotional for The Scientist--still gets me--and went crrazy:bomb: for Politik! totally forgot that it's back in show, i f$@&%* love that song live! Also, didn't think they'd do TWO encores. I thought that Green Eyes and The Dubliners was gonna be a special one(two)time thing for Chicago. I felt so smurt singing along to the little chorus, :smug:. So the show in the end didn't feel short, as I usually feel after seeing Coldplay. But I did IMMEDIATELY went into withdrawal...and my first thought as the houselights came back on was....OMG now I gotta wait until OCT to see again!!:disappointed: No, I want more NOOOOW!(I know, I'm spoiled, some people only get to see them one time, and here I am bitchin' about just waiting until the next time). But Coldplay is THAT addictive, and Live it's just the purest form of the drug LOL. HELP! Though Chris wasn't as chatty as he usually is, and they didn't use those catwalk/ramps much, there were some funny moments. Early on in the show, maybe during In MY Place, there was the customary manly show of affection toward Jonny, and then dropping to the floor right in front of him at the end, so that poor Jonny's gotta help Chris back up hehe. Chris apologized for the postpontment of the show, saying that they were told that they should all get nose jobs and it was scheduled for the date back in June (paraphrasing). Also the whole explanation of the encore--"now we're gonna leave, but not really so you gotta yell really loud for us to come back, 'cause we could leave, then come back and play one more song, and then really leave. Or maybe not." (again something to that effect) Oh and right before Yellow, he said something like this is a song for those of you who remember it from 1971 when we first started...(and my friend was like, what 1971?, did he get that wrong?? LOL She's not used to Chris's sense of humor!) So, in conclusion :), Chris, Guy, Jonny, Will, have put on an awesome show once again. That was my 7th! time seeing them, and it never disappoints, and I can never get enough. THANK YOU COLDPLAY!!! and thank you to the awesome crowd that always make it so much fun to be a part of the fandom:D
  21. Hey! Phil is MINE :D I saw him live and in person at the Today show, and ask Mel, I said--I'm gonna become a groupie for the band's friend, not even the band members LOL (I just don't have any money to follow them around, hehe, but if I only could...I'd wear a tshirt that said PHIL IS HOT, nevermind a banner!:wink3:
  22. :laugh3: I think you're going to have to take a nap before the show to make it all the way through!!! LOL
  23. ahhh Mel! what a cute couple you guys make w/ matching shades! hehe (don't tell your hubby!)
