notes on a scandal - 8.5/10 pretty memorable movie. the commentry was interesting and the characters were perfect. dame judy dench and cate blanchette made an intense duo that just worked.

how unrealistic is this movie plot. never thought so before but it REALLY is!

lol yeah i had that on my desktop for quite...some...time lol i really like this pic, it's totally out of character but it puts a grin on my face ... :rolleyes: :nice:

i'm opposite to that ^^ in school my obsessions made me do much better. they inspired me, really drove me to do the best i can than i otherwise normally would if i didn't love them as much. my major obsession was band of brothers, and it goes way beyond the mini-series. the soundtrack, the characters, the people those characters portrayed, the history, my gosh, i can literally go on for hours and hours about it, and yet never fully explain what they do for me. that why i'm convinced obsessions to a certain point are healthy and a good way to drive your potential to the brink. i mean things like bob inspired me to be better in so many ways and just thinking of it does wonders, sooo ....... thank goodness for obsessions! :D :nice:

@Josh, atghk comes in digipak form with the general booklet in black which i'm sure you've seen already. if you open it up completely, you see all four members with little mew inscriptions between the pics like the angel etc. the only bad thing is the acrylic-like material they've used which creases easily, and can cause the black to come off a little, but it's still looks really slick :cool: frengers comes in jewel case and the booklet doesn't fully open up and there are no pics of the band members just well, you'll soon see lol ... @Nadia, i enjoy anything mew-related so keep everything coming, including stories :wink: i'll upload the ones i have in a little while. do you have any b-sides? also, are there any in particular you'd like?

yeah same, usually i am content with uploads, but when it's a band i really like...! they are definitely the store to go to, 9/10 they will have atghk and frengers, they even had tzb single.

i'm not european so i wouldn't know what the general opinion is of americans (if there is one) but as a non-american, i find it sad how being associated with america has brought about so much negative connotations, especially when it has been responsible for a lot of good in the past and present. each country has it's own share of problems, some more than others, and asking a question like this during a time where the situation for america isn't exactly ideal and could deliver impulsive responses. [i'm trying to steer away from the political side of things now lol] all that aside, i've met americans that are great, others that are not to much, but same goes with any nationality so i don't see why we should expect so much from them when every country has their fair share of fantastic people vs. others.
