^ exactly. it's not that far away! in a way i'm glad it won't be released this year. the album release in 2005, the concert in 2006 ... i think anticipation will only make it better if we wait a while, and a year is nothing really. :)

yes quite shocking, but another worthy purchase :P i bought my friend atghk for xmas, and told another about mew and gave her a select bunch of songs to introduce her to it, and they both come back with a "hm, they are definitely different" but neither say anything positive about it. i knew mew are a unique sound and aren't for everyone but i can't understand how people can't see the brilliance of their lyrical genuis and instrumental constructment. it truly baffles me. ah, more mew for me i suppose :rolleyes:

clocks ~ coldplay

i come here for coldplay, first and foremost, but lately there hasn't been much to talk about since the tour is over and they are making the new record thus no more single releases etc. after that it's the world of music forum and sometimes the news. there are great fans out there, some not so much, but fans nonetheless, but i think talk of coldplay has largley slowed to a ripple due to the inactivity of concerts and music releases. lastly, i come here for to talk to other fans, people from all over the world. everyone is friendly and really nice, and although i know only a handful by name and others through our shared obsession with certain bands, it is great to be apart of that. if i'm not on here for that, i'm probably busy with something on the pc and need a change of scenery which this site provides :nice:

phew, good idea, worthy of being persued and not scrapped. maybe 100 was too much, possible 50 would make the idea more appealing for people who saw 100 as way to much. anyway, good to know, i await the new thread if you go through with that, which you definitely should imo.

i haven't been listening to a lot of coldplay recently, but today when i turned on my stereo, arobtth album started playing. it was a total shock because i didn't think the album was in the player, anyway, heard all the songs again, and hearing clocks again reminded me of how much i love love love this band.
